Questions Nächster Briefkasten
Hey mich würde mal interessieren wie lang der nächste Briefkasten von euch entfernt ist? Also wie lange müsst ihr dahin laufen oder fahren. Und aus welchem Land kommt ihr?

Wpd postcard limit is 5
I don't know if this has been said here already but I saw it on the forum where they copied it from the discord, that World Postcard Day has an address request limit of 5 and not 10 anymore due to just alot of people that will be requesting on Oct 1
just an unofficial notice,

Postage 🇮🇳 I have some beautiful Indian stamps who wants to swap postcards with me?
I’m from India 🇮🇳 and would love to swap postcards with fellow Postcrossers around the world!
I’ll send a postcard with a handwritten message and some beautiful Indian stamps. 📮
In return, I’d love to receive a postcard from your country with some handwritten note. 🌍✉️
Anyone interested in a swap? 😊

Do I wait until I return to send them?
I live in Switzerland most of the time, but I often visit Bosnia, my home country. Since postage is cheaper there and fewer cards are sent, I prefer to send postcards from there while in travel mode. As usual, I was there in the summer and got eight addresses. I already chose the cards and wrote the messages and dates, but I didn't have time to go to the post office to buy stamps. Now I'm back in Switzerland. Should I send them from here to ensure they arrive quickly, even if the postmark is incorrect, or should I wait until I'm back in Bosnia to send them? It will be either October or December by then. Thanks in advance for your advice/opinion :)

Received a letter instead of a postcard
I've been Postcrossing for many years. Yesterday, I received a literal letter with no postcard for the first time.
I've received blank postcards in envelopes with a letter included before. I've received folded cards before. But never before yesterday have I received an actual letter with morning resembling a postcard included.
What would you do in my situation?

Outgoing After a day of writing, those are ready to be send out
Sure as you notice that 2 of the envelopes are missing the stamp... It's because I was out of stamps... So I took the picture before going to the post office... Since I'm sending mail from Germany sending a postcard or 20 grams envelope... the price is the same. That's why I prefer to send 2 postcards (or once I managed to fit 2 postcards and 2 teabags)... The individual postcard, are for people who wrote that they prefer a card and didn't want an envelope and the other one... I just didn't have a long envelope like that at the moment...
Hope they will arrive fast enough to the receivers.
Traveling to those countries + one private swap that will travel to India

Small Miami airport haul
Was traveling through MIA and was able to pickup some postcards while waiting on my flight, so excited about the holographic Miami postcards. Does anyone have experience sending them out since they’re sturdier and much heavier? Should I use an envelope and extra stamps?

Outgoing I wonder how many postcards you send out each month?
These are my outgoing postcards this month.
I would send more, but the postage fees are quite high. :)

Questions how do you make your postcards?
Hey guys 👋
I was wondering how you guys print your POSTCARD?
Like what do you do to get the designs , paper , or just anything.
Also I saw many people saying they use AI for designs, can they also give a brief idea on what they do
I am new to this sub so i am just learning

Questions More received than sent?
I was looking through the recent feed and found a card I liked but when I looked at the profile of who sent it I saw that they had more received cards than sent. How is this possible? I thought your cards have to be registered before you can receive another card?

Slow mail within US?
Hi, I’m sure this has already been talked about but I just wanted to share my experience and see how others feel? I’ve sent 2 postcards domestically within the US this past month and one never made it (TX to CO) and the other has been in transit for over 3 weeks (TX to MA) and still not made it. This is very odd for me as all my postcards going to CA from TX usually make it within 2 weeks or less. It seems like I have a better chance of my cards making it internationally rather than domestically at this point, which is kind of a bummer! Meanwhile someone will send me something domestically and it’ll arrive within a week. I think I’m also bummed out because I thought the cards that I had sent within the US were really cute and I was hoping they’d make it.

Incoming First cards
Today I received my very first batch of post cards!

So many expired / close to expiring
I know it happens. Cards get lost or maybe the receiver just isn't into Postcrossing anymore. It's just such a bummer. 😢
