Colour or b/w
New here. Nothing fancy, and taken with an iPhone. Original, b/w and a little bit of processing in the colour version. Can‘t make up my mind which I prefer. What do you think?

If you decide to go with a b/w version you might consider a bit more dodging and burning in the sand. This would be to create a bit more visual interest and to accentuate leading lines into frame.
I like the high horizon, reducing the amount of sky and the clipped highlights in the clouds.
I like the diagonal of the water line leading the eye to that ray. You might consider dodging the froth to accentuate that line.
I like the diagonal at the left of large rocks meeting the sand that also leads the eye to that ray. Dodging/burning a bit more contrast where the rocks meet the sand to reinforce that diagonal might be something to think about.
There are some subtle light areas and darker areas in the sand that might be accentuated as mentioned above to create a bit more visual interest in that area.

Color, and tilt that camera up a little next time. There's nothing interesting to see in the sand, show us more sky instead.
