General Discussion 43 cents

I have 43 cents in my bank account. I’m a courier but can’t work because was in an accident that wasn’t my fault. Trying to sell items online but no one is buying anything.

Welcome to r/poverty – Developing Solutions Worldwide.

Poverty isn't simply an individual experience - it also affects families, communities, workplaces, economies, and public policy. Here we discuss both personal solutions and systemic ones.

Whether you're sharing your own experiences, helping someone navigate a difficult situation, or discussing larger issues affecting poverty, please keep the conversation respectful, constructive, and solution-focused.

We encourage:

• Practical advice
• Resource sharing (Take a look at our Wiki! )
• Lived experience
• Civil discussion of policies affecting poverty and ways to solve/work together for change
• Empathy first, never judgment.

We encourage discussion of systems and policies, but ask that criticism be directed at ideas and institutions rather than other people experiencing poverty. Every helpful comment, resource shared, thoughtful discussion, and success story makes this community stronger. Thank you for helping build a community that supports people while working toward lasting solutions.

OP. What kind of products do you sell online? Which platform do you use?

I got some weights and some old Pokemon cards. I use OfferUp.

If you need food, check a local church. Some give out food or bread. Wherever you are selling, don't give up. It takes a while for people to buy.

OP, I am sorry. Like Crafty-Lavishness said surveys, sometimes it takes a long time, but I can get a Walmart gift cart out of Swagbucks.com

I am sure there are other sites too.
