Can anyone provide solid reasoning as to why Kenpachi wins this fight ?

I saw a post two day ago talking about “anti-speed feats” between Kratos and Asura. In it, the OP compared Asura’s soul climbing out of Naraka vs. Kratos running across a bridge to save Atreus. They sped up the Kratos clip so I put it back to normal speed and the two clips side by side for a better comparison.

I find the notion that Kratos running at human speed to save his son being an anti-feat a hilarious thing. It implies Kratos has shown supernatural travel/running speed in the past and consistently as well. Excluding the boots of Hermes, which he doesn’t have in the Norse saga and doesn’t even increase his speed that much, Kratos has not shown a single feat of him running at speeds above peak human level. He canonically can’t catch Hermes and needed a catapult (which Hermes can’t react to apparently lol) to shoot Hermes down from a statue. I’m sure you’ve already heard about the boats and dog sleds. The best way you will ever see Kratos travel fast is with the wings of Icarus + strong air currents from Icarus’ air vents. I challenge anyone to post an actual clip of Kratos moving as fast as an average car on his own in his games.

In the meanwhile, I will post Asura’s travel speed feats in the comments. No “lore”, just context. I will not be including any of Asura’s endgame speed feats (Destructor form specifically) because that’s just extreme overkill.
