Like, yeah, I get it, it's aimed towards young girls and preschoolers, but think about it, why is it only the Stage Shows that have more than one male Cure? Like, I'm not tripping. Smile had Cure Gorilla, Kirakira had Rio (An honorary Cure, but still), Hugtto had Cure Infini who only transformed ONCE, and Soaring Sky had our first and only male core character in Cure Wing. Meanwhile we have 2 entire male-only teams in the stage shows. And yeah, again, I know Precure's aimed towards little girls, but other little girl media also have guys in the core group of characters, for example, MLP and Spike, Barbie and Ken, and Deuce in Monster High. I don't know, it's just something I noticed is all, and honestly, I kinda wonder if there's a reason behind why all the male Cures are in the stage shows. Eh, cest la vie (I hope I spelled that right)

Colorful Runaway! Precure the Stage!

As established in episode 31 from offhanded comments by the Phantom Thieves, there are 3 species that play important roles in the world of Star Detective PreCure. They are humans, fairies and the forgotten (by both humans and fairies alike). Those of the forgotten are implied to be the Phantom Thieves member themselves, as well as Decchi perhaps. They all share a similiarity: they have starry eyes. And who else is clearly shown to have starry eyes also? Kurea when she activates Sparkle Time. Kurea also has an uncannily intimate relationship with fairies, even when first meeting them back in the London HQ of Curetto Detective Agency, meaning this forgotten species could have been fairies also.

Anna in her Answer Hanamaru Sword finisher also flashes a star, though on her left eye instead of her right like Kurea. This could mean that like Kurea, Anna is of mixed origin too, and that her father may be one of the Phantom Thieves we see in the anime. The same can be said for Kurea, at least for her origin being a mix of human and forgotten fairies.

Finally finished the final one! Dunno if I'll do this again in the future (I have sketches for the Hirosky team but am not planning on doing this again any time soon) but I had a lot of fun designing them :D

Only pros and cons let's go.

In episode 50, Anna has to return back to her own time with Pochitan so she tearfully says goodbye as she flies up into the sky to Mikuru and the others, who are also crying. Anna tells everyone to meet on the day of her birthday. The last scene shows Anna in her bedroom, where Anna's mom is calling her to wake up. Anna seems to have forgotten everything that happened in the past.

Episode 51 starts with Anna's mom asking if Anna is planning to sleep the whole day. Anna says that she feels like she was in a dream but she can't remember. Anna's dad returns home. They celebrate her birthday and Anna asks for her birthday present, which Anna's mom tells her it's a secret (Arcana, get it? Hahaha) and to find out what the secret is, she has to solve a mystery. Anna's mom gives her a hint. As Anna investigates, she comes across a blue butterfly. It feels nostalgic to her yet she can't figure out when she saw it.

Anna gets stuck at one point but she eventually figures it out when she thought back to her mother's words. It leads her to... a detective agency? She enters and finds a Jewel Cure Watch (that's her birthday present) and a stuffed doll, which turns out to be Pochitan and she springs back to life. Anna freaks out as the doll is speaking and flying but then we hear a confetti popper and voices congratulating Anna for solving her "first" case. We see Anna's parents, older Kurea, older Luluka, Jett (who still looks the same) and the fairies.

Anna is confused then we see Anna's mom giving her something which awakens the lost memories that Anna buried deep in her heart. Anna calls out everyone's names, and then turns to her mom, calling her Mikuru. Mikuru says, "You finally remember everything. Welcome back, Anna." Anna cries and hugs her mom. That's a wrap for the season, guys.

I watched it as a kid and it was (and still is) on of my favorite seasons of precure, but I can't find it anywhere now :(

From someone with experience here; Precure is not that well-known amongst anime fans. Where it is well-known is amongst Japanese and Asian immigrants who want to give their children something in Japanese to watch.

A lot of Precure merch is classified as 'shokugan' (candy toy) because it includes a piece of gum. This means it counts as a 'food' item and so is often sold in grocery stores alongside other snacks for children.

Just maybe don't try eat the gum, often these things stay on the shelves for years past their expiry date.

The oldest thing I've seen is a Delicious Party bath bomb, but I'm sure there are places out there with even older stuff.

You take that friend of Echo's who came from Fusion that she was a bad influence to. Say a villain brought him back to life and did the same with him or maybe even introduce him to a new friend with very severe issues. Just of what he'll be manipulated into this time.

Don't know if this is a spoiler, but just to be safe.

I've been solely rewatching episode 31 for this fight scene alone. I'm literally stunned. Even though the "fight" (or more so, a single kick) was extremely lackluster, I'll genuinely forgive it because of this. But we still need more actual fight scenes, unless the kids will cry about it again?

They seriously went Umamusume Cinderella Gray with this animation. This was definitely not what I expected from this anime lol.

A lot of the Cure Arcana debate seems focused on her color scheme, though I'm curious how her redemption will affect Luluka herself. Arcana Shadow has a lot of complexity going on: she's quiet and methodical but also emotionally strained; she jumps from helping to harming the other Cures enough to leave them (and us) guessing at her motives; her greatest enemy is her closest friend; she's lowkey goth but has enough confidence to be addicted to ice cream anyway. That's an interesting character to watch!

So now that Luluka's had her full redemption, my biggest question is... now what? Her main source of inner conflict's gone, as is the mystery around her motives and allegiance. Mid-season redeemed villains from other series have gone from staying just as interesting to almost visibly becoming cardboard, which makes me a bit cautious.

When it works, it usually replaces the mysterious-loner aspects with something new, like a lingering sense of regret or feeling out of place with the new cast, so... maybe be part of a separate mystery? Explore her and Goemon's dynamic some more? There's got to be an alternative to swapping out one form of angst for another, but I'm not sure where her character can go from here.

over all both seasons where really damn good

i loved the characters i even loved the mascots by the end

the action was great

q thing i did not like was with the villains always tieing back to jaku king

i wish season 2 had a unique big bad and each of the 2 movies as well

and on the subject of the villains i loved the villians in max heart they had a great dynamic

and i grew to love the butler zarkena

another thing i was let down by honoka did not get as much screen time as nagisa or even hikari really

but her character still shined brightly over all

i just really loved both seasons

id give pretty cure the original series a 8/10

Cure Swifty is a black cure and is based off a dragonfly. She is the fastest.

Cure Lucanus is a red cure and is based off a stag beetle. She is also the mid season. She is the tank of the group.

Cure Mante is a green cure and she is based off a praying mantis. She is good at being both defensive and offensive.

Cure Silky is a pink cure and is based off a lunar moth. She is the leader of the group and the most knowledgeable.

Shaku is a fairy and he provides the group with support items and is knowledgeable.

I drew Cure Arcana after her debut episode yesterday. Tbf there were a ton of leaks showing Luluka as a white cure, at first I was a bit iffy on it but it grew on me.

Cure Gamer

I love this design so much! I love that she brings back super green-green tones, especially with the lime colour in her hair, and together with the majority white, it’s quite a calm, soothing palette. At the same time, I love how detailed and layered her outfit is, and the asymmetry fits Purirun’s personality perfectly. The many straight, vertical lines are also an interesting choice.

Who should I draw next? (I add the suggestions to a wheel to choose)
I’m also not drawing two Cures of the same season or colour in a row, for the sake of variety :)

I’m currently watching and trying to catch up, so maybe it's just that the transformation takes too much time, but isn’t that true for most Pretty Cure seasons?

I swear, like remembers Delicious Party also has a long transformation of the trio and then shows the full one in Cure Finale

Why are people suddenly acting like this franchise suddenly does long stock footage of transformation

Yea less time for fight scenes but again I remember other seasons i watched does the same and only few episodes thats full on action
