Increase in Spam Posts

Hi all,

I just wanted to share on behalf of the Mod team that we have been made aware of multiple bots creating spam posts, mostly surrounding the topic of "keeping intimacy alive." If you see more posts like this and suspect it's from a bot, please report it so we can get it removed. I just went and removed several from the past week, as well as banned the usernames associated with them.

Luckily for us, there is typically minimal moderating to be done in this sub, since y'all do a fantastic job of keeping things civil, even when there is disagreement. You all make this community what it is, and we really appreciate everyone!

Do we have a minium karma threshold to post? Guess that might go against the spirit of the sub when people are looking for advice and answers

Yea great idea in theory but think the sub needs to stay available for people to make an account then immediately ask a question. Idk the best remedy for the bots

Hear me out. Let’s take the bots, stick them in a thread together, and make them battle.

I call it… bots that fight. Or battling robots. No that doesn’t sound right
