mixed media/experimental My first ceramic tile and an infinity pattern!

I've only made a handful of carvings but I'm really enjoying the experimental side of things. I love how this little wall hanging turned out!

It has to be a handmade one-off tile, and then a linocut or something done in the same pattern

Backwards! I am using cheap erasers instead of linoleum to build the pattern and then I imprinted the clay

It's by hand. There are four sections and each section is placed individually in a leapfrog pattern. The paper is 4 sections by 5 sections and the ceramic tile is one of each section!

Wow the glaze on that tile is absolutely beautiful, great fun pattern too. Did you make that pattern work by hand, or using digital methods? Just curious because I'd probably do it digitally for ease before proceeding to the physical production. Cause I know I've seen apps that show you what the tiled version looks like as you work on it. Great work regardless

Thank you! I did this all by hand! I sketched the pattern out, then carved them out on 4 pieces. I don't make any digital art, so this is much easier for me. I like the idea of those digital options but haven't dove in to any yet
