Keep getting this error when booting up Pro Tools

Post image

I've checked through every folder I can think of, and theyre all set to Read and Write. Any ideas of what the issue could be? I flat out cannot boot up this software.

I should mention: this is in Rosetta mode. When not in Rosetta, it just bounces once and nothing happens. Any solution to either is greatly appreciated

Maybe something to do with where protools is saving locally to your computer?

This was my thought too. Or maybe opening a project from a drive that is having issues.

You’re running it in Rosetta because why? What Mac/processor is it running on?

They’re probably using plugins that aren’t natively compatible with Apple Silicon.

Looks like 26.3 is the last supported version of Tahoe .... Did you recently do an update? .... Do I gotta be a broken record .....

This may be the problem.
You might need to downgrade your OS. I don’t understand why Avid doesn’t make their products upward compatible.
I’ve always been very slow to upgrade my OS. My computer is used primarily for Pro Tools. If Pro Tools can’t work, neither can I.

Is this only on Rosetta?

Have you checked your permissions?

PT is bugging out. Maybe if you were running it on a drive other than your system drive.
I’ve never encountered this one. Looks like a huge headache.

Another reason not to update to Tahoe.

Do you have 2 projects with the exact same name? I encountered this, and found that this was the issue.

Your permission had some suspicion so upon the necessary provision, was denied.
