Sig sauer Tango
Does anyone have experience with using tangos on their 91? Ive been using irons and i am wanting to upgrade to a low to mid range scope. Would the tango survive or would the recoil just eat the thing?

I've got a Tango MSR 1-6x on mine. It holds up quite well. The real potential point of failure is the mounting solution. If you've got a rail integrated/welded to the receiver, that's ideal, but depending if you're using a claw vs a spuhr vs MFI vs whatever, then there's different levels of robustness to those solutions depending on the exact model you have e.g. a CA3 doesn't have the recoil lug to fix the claw mount so you need something else.

I have run Vortex Diamondbacks 1-6x and Vortex Strike Eagle 1-8x LPVO optics on my 1986 Hk91 for years with no failures. I used MFI rails and had good luck with them.

Not experienced with sig specifically. I know their low end optics are Chinese made, not amazing but not junk either. I think it would hold up to the recoil of a ptr 91. I would also check out a vortex strike eagle(PSA has deals on these a lot) and the primary arms slx line optics, I like the handful of primary arms optics I've owned so far.
