best type of endcaps?

How do you reinforce them? 1mm of paper with some glue doesn't seem like a whole lot to build pressure.

It’s more around 1.75mm, and with 10 layers, it does trust me

For the end caps? 17.5 mm end caps?

Oof I got you confused for something else, still use paper for end caps, just spike it with twine

Plugs will be better. Use thick paper. Card stock is ideal, cereal boxes are free. Find a rammer slightly smaller than your tube and push form a bunch through an empty tube. You can make a punch by using a piece of copper or a metal conduit and file the edge sharp and make a bunch of plugs if needed. That way its all consistent and ptetty. Puddle up some glue over the end plugs it if your concerned.
