Help vitamin e + selenium supplement recommendations?
my quail who had wry neck at a few days old recovered well, but now at 2 weeks, its neck is starting to show symptoms again. it didn't really like hard boiled egg yolk, and feeding it raw yolk + E was tricky, if effective. I figure it might be simpler to just buy a poultry suppliment for it. Does anyone know a good brand and dosage that worked for you? something easy to dose it with individually for a while. I'd rather not do anything that requires isolation, every chick I've tried to isolate has gotten so stressed it stopped eating.

Nutri Drench comes with an eyedropper for right in the beak, mixed in water or food. It alleges that it goes rapidly into the bloodstream. I had a duck with a crooked neck once she hit her growth spurt, did a combo of lower protein food (layer) with the vitamins on it and her separated to eat, gentle neck stretching and supervised swimming to help stimulate her to preen. Maybe a nice solo dust bath and food would help your quail depending on how much you can handle it, too.
