Similarly, when we sent Bucky Balls through the double slits, obviously the molecule didn't go through both the slits. Isn't it pretty clear that there's the atom/molecule that goes through one slit, but then there's a "matter wave" it rides that goes through both slits?
Pilot-wave theory makes the most sense to me because as we test increasingly massive objects, the "matter/guiding wave" has less of an effect. (the interference pattern width is smaller with Bucky balls than with photons because the guiding wave doesn't affect Bucky balls's trajectory as much).
