Help | Java trying to solve Realm chat issue [java] 26.2

I’m trying to play on a realm with another person, but in the realm I can see all of their chat messages but they can’t see a single one of mine. I have the profanity filter off, and the realm owner has it turned off, I don’t really know what else to do to troubleshoot this.

They should check their own chat settings on their Xbox/Microsoft account.

They might not be allowed to see other people's chat (at least it sounds like the same problem "Mumbo Jumbo" had in Hermitcraft, assuming your friend can see their own messages)

they can see their own messages. I’ll have them check those settings again even though I thought they already did… thought it might be an internet issue but that was also a no

If age verification is the problem, there are client side mods to get around that afaik (never used one myself since I don't have that problem though)
