I went in the store in a town that was 3 miles long trying to find the apple edition in sugar-free. Technically, I was looking for last year’s winter edition version because I always find them in stores like this and what do I find? FIG APPLE!!!

all I see is the sugar version, are they seriously not releasing the sugar free one?

This week I went to London and tried this for the first time and honestly, this might be my new favorite flavor

I was a die hard OG Redbull fan. I’ve tried the OG sugar free one before and absolutely hated the artificial sweetener taste.

I’ve recently been more conscious of my sugar intake and after 4 weeks of reducing sugar, I decided to try the sugar free Redbull again. I let it sit in the fridge for a bit and poured it over ice. The sugar free taste I hated was gone! I might even prefer it over the OG now. When I had the OG after reducing my sugar, it tasted way too sweet. YAY! Either I’m old now or reducing sugar helped me :)

With the release Sudachi Lime and potentially discontinuing Tropical I began to notice a pattern. Almost every discontinued flavor (RIP Blueberry, Elderflower, and soon Tropical) tends to be less sweet and more floral? Not sure if I'm describing it well, but basically they're not super sweet. They also don't have sugar-free editions. Artificial sweeteners like aspartame, sucralose, and the like all have a reputation for being overly sweet. Likely to a point where they can't mask it.

Personally I find the newer flavors tend to be overly sweet compared to the original lineup. So much that you can't really taste the difference with their sugar-free editions. I think the only exception to this imo is Fuji Apple. Do you think they're discontinuing older flavors just so they can start selling sugar-free counterparts? It seems like a bid to compete with Alani, which is exclusively sugar-free.

I've read that the Apple edition isn't coming in sugar free? But if that's the case why is it on the red bull official website?
