As you can see my account is about to 5y now but still 1karma how dont relly know how it work and how do i get it faster

I received a message from a user on reddit saying they reported my account for phishing/scamming, but realized that it was actually another account that was intentionally made to appear like mine, same name and avatar, just the username was slightly different. They asked my to chat of discord and explained that this other account told them my account was theirs also. Anyway, they screenshot a message and sent it to me from reddit support asking me to contact a specific person from reddit support on discord. The person is Brandon Cisneros from reddit support. I did this and Brandon is telling me I'm being accused of identity theft and it is necessary to secure my account and temporarily change the email on it. I've attached my whole convo with Brandon. This where my skepticism is starting to tingle. It seems like Brandon and this other user that reached out are trying to create some urgency so i act quickly. I googled Brandon's name and reddit and he appears legit. Can anyone shed light on this for me?

How does an account gain karma? Also is karma different from comment karma?

i was almost at my 600 day streak the other day (547 days) and that morning i interacted either a post but then the next day when i went to check it showed i was at 1 day streak out of 600. i went back and checked and it looks like the post that i had interacted with earlier in the day had been deleted. that doesn’t seem fair at all. is there anything i can possibly do to get my streak back? welcome to any advice

Im on a different account because I am unable to post anything from my other account. I got an auto mod reply telling me they removed my post & “At present, you may only participate in the comments.
This is an anti-spam measure. No further information will be provided. Asking for any further information (including why your post was removed, if it can be approved, or what triggered the removal) will result in an immediate and permanent ban.”

What would cause this to happen? How do I make this go away? I barely ever post anything. Im not suspended or restricted in anyway, I have 16k karma, I also have the highest CQS score and have had my account for 8 years.

I've been trying to help a friend appeal their banned account, they acknowledged that they made a mistake and got banned on a subreddit but ended up getting a site-wide ban automatically. Instead of trying to bypass the issue or break any further rules they are trying to file appeals, Is there something that they need to do specifically within 250 characters to get a human review?

Does anyone have any tips for this because whenever I post something in a random subreddit, it gets deleted even though it doesn’t violate the rules of the subreddit so any tips?

This happened about a month ago. It was a comment where somebody posted a picture of a pentagram that started seeping through the paint on their ceiling, I jokingly commented "oh no it looks like you're dead," and was permabanned for it. I appealed, explained that this was probably the auto mod seeing this as a threat when it's supposed to be a joke about a demon haunting their house. The appeal was accepted within like an hour, they reinstated the comment, but the account is still banned.

I've resubmitted appeals and sent emails through the help center and I haven't been given a response.

I'm not really sure what else to do. I don't mind starting over from scratch but I tried making a new account a little bit ago and that account got a perma ban after about a day, so I assume there's like a flag on my IP address or something.

I was on a sub Reddit since it just got recommended to me. I don’t read mod messages, and they were getting mad there were a lot of drive by accounts, so they set a limit that I didn’t see. I got permanently banned from that subreddit and after talking with the mod he said he doesn’t want people like me in there. Is there a way for the ban to be lifted? I would like to participate in that community.

On some communities Im able to comment while on others I can’t why so?

For some reason the followers count is set to 0 - but I do have hundreds. If I click on the count, I see a list of many of the followers.

What could cause the count to be displayed as 0?
