Thank you! One singular game with a couple clutch hits (they were great, he’s the reason we won), and some people are ready to hand him a crown.
Yet conveniently skipping over the fact that if it wasn’t for Gasper’s ability to pick it he’d of had an error on every throw he made to 1B. Biggest dig on Mona was his shitty D and Story’s is no better.

I was looking for the comment saying Gasper saved Story’s ass a couple times last night. Considering he has only played 1B in the minors, I was pleasantly surprised at how well Gasper played

I'll admit I got pretty down on him when he wasn't hitting in his AAA rehab. I was in favor of bringing him back if he hit there, but I was sure not expecting him to not hit there and then do whatever the fuck this is.

Story was legit good last year and there's reason to believe his hernia was causing his issues this year. I don't know if he'll be 2025 Story for the rest of the year, but Mona has run out of ammunition and Story being able to pick up where Mona left off a couple of weeks ago would be a nice boost.
We are paying him the money, might as well get quality production out of him. Same thing was said about Masa before he went down. We needed his bat this year

I acknowledged what he did last year. But pitch data from his Worcester outs tricked me to believe he was Hernia Story and not last years Story. Feel like he trolled us based on his Worcester production. Im glad its working out!

What’s funny is Red Sox fans as a group seem to change gears pretty fast. You won’t catch me apologizing because he’s batting .500 in his, checks notes, two games since returning. I am happy. I am excited. I am hopeful it continues (obv not a .500 clip). But I need more than two games.

Love it , let the records show I did not contribute to Story Story. There seems to a trend in this sub that has been consistent . We trashed Durbin he turned it around they trash Duran he hits a grand slam . It seems the trashing invokes the baseball gods to show us the error of our ways

I apologize for NOTHING! I don’t hate the player though. He’s a good defender (almost yipped a couple throws in the 10th last night though, god bless you Mickey Gasper!) and he’s not an incompetent hitter. The strikeouts drive me absolutely insane but last year he was really good (25 homers 31 steals and didn’t even get caught stealing until late September or something) and I feel like he’s a good clubhouse leader. He’s a positive addition. Not great, not terrible, but positive.
