If Rigby successfully stopped Mordecai from kissing CJ at midnight, him and Margaret might have gotten together

I’ve always found this weirdly unresolved. You’d expect we see Rigby send the message back at some point. Hopefully this comes up in the lost tapes.

I think it is resolved kind of, I'm not finished rewatching regular show, but I think the main thing was that future Rigby didn't want Mordecai to kiss CJ so he could still have a chance with Margaret down the line, but I do agree, at the end of the episode, Rigby went back to the bathroom to talk to his future self again but the episode just ended right there, future Rigby was never seen again, so weird

Or the timeloop is just Rigby with continuous paranoia and just repeats the original message over and over. There was essentially no real danger.

In fairness for all we know Tracy WAS the girl Mordecai wasn’t supposed to kiss. Sure his relationship with CJ ultimately failed, but who knows maybe the world would’ve been destroyed or something if he kissed Tract, Butterfly effect and all that

Haven’t Margaret actually broken Mordecai’s heart before this event though?
