Yep. I love how season 8 made a call back to him by to him by showing his floating skull blocking the portal of ugliness.

As a kid I pointed at the tv like Leonardo DiCaprio as I understood the reference. Thinking about it now is actually sad and dark because while the guy was happy he finally got attention and fame back, the guys just left him there to die. No food. No water.
