I swear I saw an edit of CJ & Margret making out in front of Mordecai when Lost Tapes was announced, and I was hoping not to get another Mako situation.
The reason he became a supervillain was actually because a future version of Sue Storm who became Kang the Conqueror told him to do so. Truly a wife guy to the end.
Plus, I don’t entirely blame his actions first, he wanted Kara discover things about earth, and not just rush into relationship like that, and hopefully if the 4th season actually happens he can prove himself to her
Look i get it that he was afraid of there being some kind of imbalance between the twonof the. But dog shes an adult you couls have sat her down and talked it out with her
Kara was the one who set up the competition first by inviting every eligible bachelor to come and meet with her, he responded to that by getting on Worms and this was a mutual competition between them to see who could get more matches. By the time they went to the ceremony where Lois and Kara were receiving their awards, he clearly states that he is under the impression that she has moved on from him considering that she is just as frequently checking the dating apps as he is.
Yeah Jimmy hands down is a bigger fumbler than Mordo. Don't get me wrong Mordecai fumbled hard, especially during Muscle man's wedding. But at least he had a stable relationship with Margaret for a while, if anything Margaret also fumbled because she ran off to college, when she could've easily stayed in contact with Mordo. Especially since they had such a healthy relationship, or heck since Mordecai was working a dead end job she could've encouraged him to move in with her he could've just found another job.
He even gotten to date CJ for a while, before fumbling. Jimmy's entire character got ruined, because he "didn't know what she wanted" when she was practically giving herself up to him!
That part just pisses me off. Like Jimmy is acting like Kara was being cryptic. Girl was not hiding that she wanted to have a relationship like Clark and Lois. And Jimmy goes "Oh, she just wants to be friends" when he knows Lois and Clark are dating.
Jimmy is smart, and that was the dumbest thing I have seen him do. Kara was very clear, and he decided she was hiding what she wanted.
For real like she gave him the easiest layup ever! She was new to earth and everything! He could've been her guide, why would you play with a alien emotions? Like dude was clearly feeling her in season 2 but, nooo he had no idea what she wanted like bro are you high? 🤦🏾♂️
That whole thing was BS writing to force Drama. Because we can't have a couple develop calmly. Nope, there has to be drama and all sorts of BS before they get to the understanding.
With Clark and Lois it made sense. New relationship and there was the whole "How do I reveal I'm Superman?" situation. Jimmy has none of that. He knows who Kara is, and likes her. They could have had a bunch of cute moments instead of Jimmy trying to make Kara jealous.
Yeah well put, they literally brought the plotline to a standstill just so we can develop this stupid love side plot. Yeah Jimmy did interrupt the plot once in a while in the early seasons, but at least it was quick and was used for gags. Like when he was a multimillionaire for a bit. This is just some artificial drama to extend the runtime.
Maybe they could've just had them be friends from the jump, and explored on how Jimmy isn't ready for a relationship yet. But is happy to be friends. Like not every relationship with a boy and girl needs to be romantic, they could've explored that if they weren't willing to have them actually date, what a waste of time.
That gonk really had the best girl in the whole show fall in love with him and fumbled her so many times. Like dating others to make her jealous, seriously?
He didn't fumble them, they drugged him on the first date, performed experiments on him that altered his body without his consent, and one of them abducted him while the other was a terrorist. He had to be rescued the first time and actively helped defeat the second one.
I mean I don't know about all that. I found Jimmy to be hilarious, he's the goofy straight man of the group! They just ruined his entire character in season 3 for no reason, forcing this stupid will they, won't they plotline.
