Others have mentioned the solution, and your die set has instructions on how to handle a stuck case.
Just unscrew the collet that holds the decapping pin, and hammer that sucker out.

Go back in time and buy a stuck case remover before you ever need one 🙂

next time you can screw the die in upside down and use the press to push it out

One of my first videos, so give me a pass on the production quality, but here is how you get it out for a Lee. I have another one for the stuck case remover and socket/bolt set ups.

Thanks. I've tried beating it out. It isn't moving.
Edit: I had my wife hit it with her purse. Fucker came right out!

1/4 tap, a socket head screw, some fender washers , and a socket that makes contact with the die body.
Drill and tap the back of the brass. Spray a little penitrating oil on the sides of the brass.
Fit your socket over the end of the case, making contact with the die body, put the washers over the sockethead screw. And thread the sockethead screw into the brass, through the socket
As you tighten the screw, it will draw the brass out

put a lock ring on it, set it in a vice, with the lock ring on top of the jaws and the die body held loosely or wrapped in cardboard or something to not damage the threads, then beat on that pin with a hammer. drive your case out. might need to cut the case off your decapping pin when done. might break the pin off the decapping pin rod. use more lube when resizing next time. if you have to buy a new pin, buy 2 or 3. always good to have spares.

I’ll tell you my list.
Try putting the whole thing in the deep freezer, might contract enough to make the difference in friction low enough.
RCBS stuck case kit is the absolute best option. Sort of like how certain brands have their followers, but sometimes one makes a tool or product that transcends all that and is just the default, well that’s the rcbs kit. It just works
I stopped having stuck cases when I went to Hornady unique as a lube. Take a small bit(tiny amount, like pea sized is more than enough for dozens), put in a ziplock and shake shake shake. Every 5 or so when you’re loading, maybe swipe the neck inside with a trace amount on an ear swab.

"Any recommendations"
Lube better next time. Until then, hit the decapper pin with your purse.

The problem wasn't a lack of lube. I'm pretty sure it was too much one shot and it hadn't dried. And I used my wife's purse, thank you very much!

Just happened to me reloading 300 blk. I clamped the case rim to a vise, used a wrench at the opposite end and used a twisting motion while pulling the die.

Try putting it in the freezer, metal contracts when it gets really cold, brass just may pop out with some help.

To me, removing tools have been not so effective and expensive. Now I use this method which is cheap and works everything, and is essentially the same as using a ready made tool:
After that, make sure you use enough case lube when resizing.
Good luck :)

Glad you got it out. I made a puller for this. It happens about 3x a year. Sometimes the brass just be sticky

Is that not a Lee die? It has a built in stuck case remover you dont even have to take the die out of the press. Either hit the pin until it comes out or like the instructions say leave the decapper clamp on and set a punch on the pin and hit that. You'll probably have to cut the brass off the pin after it comes out.

“Lube”

The one shot wasn't dry fully. Lube was the problem

Yeah that is the most common issue with one shot. It works fine but you do need to let it dry good. I’ve seen that quite a bit with one shot.

Spray with penetrating lube, use a vise with wood and sandwich it tight in vise then use vise grips and lock on hard and twist and pull and it will come out. Just be patient and work it back and forth slow.

Try freezing it in the freezer for a few days. The contraction of the metals may give you some wiggle room. Can’t hurt

1) use more lube
2) cut the bottom of the case off
2) Screw extractor to pull it right out

Since it’s a Lee..hit the decapping pin with a hammer and it’ll punch the case out.
