Satellite Multispectral satellite imagery API for small agricultural areas?

Does anyone know of an API/provider offering 1–5 m multispectral satellite imagery for small AOIs, without requiring a large minimum area or expensive upfront commitment?

I’ve built an agriculture app with crop monitoring that currently uses Sentinel-2 10 m imagery. I’d now like to offer higher-resolution imagery as a premium option for users with relatively small fields, often only a few parcels totaling 20–50 ha.

PlanetScope 3 m would be a great fit, but I haven’t found a practical way to purchase access for such small areas. Is there a Planet reseller or another provider that offers API access with pricing suitable for small agricultural areas?

You could take a look at apps like SkyFi. They offer images from different providers.

Is the app available online? I think most satellite providers add an EULA for the data... it won't be easy.. to resell, I also had this idea a few years ago 😄

Yes, the app is already live. I’m not planning to resell or show the raw imagery received from the provider directly to users.

The satellite data is processed on our side, and users only see derived products generated by the app, such as vegetation indices, productivity zones, variable-rate prescription maps, statistics, etc.

So ideally I’m looking for a provider whose license allows commercial use of the imagery for generating and displaying these derived products.

I have planned exactly the same in the same. There is a big competition in this field, 20+ apps on Google Play. Check EOS as well. But good luck. You can also check my platform, a bit similar: indicatrix.com

I’m not too concerned about global competition at this stage. Through a related local business, I’ve already built a user base that would naturally use this feature as an extension of services we already provide, so finding the first users isn’t really the problem.

My goal is simply to offer them something better than 10 m Sentinel imagery so they can get more useful results on smaller fields, without me having to commit several thousand euros upfront just to test and launch the feature.

I’ll check out EOS and your platform as well, thanks.
