Help Needed Shading

Is there any way in rhino, whether just in the shaded viewport or custom render settings, that help achieve not hyper realistic, slightly graphic comic-esque shadows like revit or sketch up? Just basic enough to provide a good perspective of the model without having to setup a hyper realistic render.

What you're looking for are Display Modes

Lots of built in Display Modes to choose from

praps now is the time, today to integrate the massive infinite powers of AI to achieve precisely what youre seeking, with minimum of skill and maximum efficiency to achieve in minutes what would take top-tier skill to achieve with 2d/3d cad?

grab a screenshot of your rhino model (maybe penview will drive the ai to better results?) , minus grid, points, lines etc, and paste it into nanobanana, use this prompt (if i understood your aim correctly)
''dear nanobanana render this image of my design work in the style of Herge (tintin) with 3 line widths and bold areas of tone''

now review the output and rebuild/edit the prompt till it looks right, then when it looks right save the text prompt that works best that achieved the look youre lookin for, on your PC/mac in a folder named ''working NB prompts'' so you can refer back to it when needed to achieve the same style again in future rendering projects

you can also go mental, and apply this prompt to supply dimensioned engineering drawings with section views:

''dear Nanobanana, thanks for that wesome input. now use that input and create a properly dimensioned, standardised ISO-standard engineering drawing with section views, as if this would be supplied to a fabricator in the art''

then review carefully that, and edit it so it isnt full of AI slop
