I need to get something off my chest :(
I've been riding some of these f*mily coasters that some of these parks are putting up. JUST FOR THE CREDITS. That's all. I need to get my numbers up.
The problem is that while in the queue line I explain to the uninformed GP's that these family rides are a terrible trend and parks should invest in gigas instead, and even said to the ride operator "I'm counting this as a credit but technically this is a flat ride even though it's a coaster," I couldn't help but enjoy them.
They're smooth, they're fun, they usually have short lines and you don't get sore when you ride them over and over and over again for dozens of laps (allegedly). I keep finding myself smiling even though there's basically no forces and only like a 25 foot drop. It makes no sense.
I'm sorry I just wanted to confess this to someone. I like family rides. I don't know how to stop. š¢
