Hot Bike Alert! Royal Enfield brought back the OG Himalayan but not the OG console?

The new Himalayan 411 was spotted at the showroom, but honestly, I’m pretty disappointed with the meter console. Since they’re bringing back the old 411, they should’ve brought back the old console too. Where do you guys think they’ll position this bike in the segment? And with this launch, do you think the Scram 411 will eventually be discontinued as the sales is pretty low ?

I was sure, they won't be bringing the old console into this model, they need the parts sharing capabilities.

RE does lots of parts sharing and it saves them a lot of money.

I don’t think they’ll make different instrument clusters for any bike nowadays

I hope it's backward compatible to put on the old console if we want to

This is not 411 engine. Its 440cc engine which is existing in scram 440 now

I think most of the people will buy this instead of the scram and the sells of the scram 440 will drastically drop

My old console shook its connections loose and now isn't back-lit

Prolly model differentiation, if they are releasing this bike in a competitive price bracket, some features might aswell be excluded.

Atleast thats what methinks

I think yes because the price position of this will be around 2.5 lakhs to 2.6 lakhs whereas the himalayan 450 is above 3.10 lakhs ,so people will buy it as it will give a full himalyan 450 vibes with less power but good capability for off-road and as well as this design has a cult following

Hopefully they left the compass in its original “random heading” mode! I once rode from Cleveland OH _north_ all the way to Columbus, Ohio. It was always fun to check, and the only thing you knew for sure is you weren’t heading in the direction displayed.

I’m more surprised they didn’t use the new tripper
