Recommended rums to buy while in Greece

Hey guys. I am currently in Greece for the next few weeks and I’m wondering if there are any bottles I should buy while I’m here that are unavailable in the USA. I found these bottles of Havana Club but if there is anything else I should look out for I would appreciate the tips. TIA

How come nobody told me about rum & tonic?

I just made myself a rum & tonic on a whim. 1:2 Doorly’s XO : tonic water with a dehydrated lime wheel. It was fantastic! Couldn’t believe how round and fruity that Doorly’s was. Who needs a Rum & Coke? This will be a reliable standby from henceforth.

Review: TDL 22 year 2003 Planteray

TDL 22 year 2003 Planteray (47.8%)
N: grassy, minty caramel, rosemary salt, banana and citrus
P: soft butter and caramel leads, then makes way for a fresh blast of mint and lemon zest and newly cut grass. Love all the freshness, that’s what I want from TDL above all, but I do wish it had more punch; it’s a little soft

Astor C<>H release

It’s a fairly pricy bottle, but 20% off in pre-sale.

From their website:

Hampden Astor Select C<>H 4yr Single Cask Jamaican Rum - 2021
700 mL
Item # 55656
One of the rarest spirits on planet earth - finding vintage single casks of the upper reaches of Hampden marques are the holy grail of the rum world. Getting ones selected in collaboration with the distillery and team at Velier even rarer. And ones that were 100% tropically aged the cherry on top. Extraordinary and high toned tropical flavors are in near perfect harmony with the funk and heavy esters of this extreme marque. We've discovered this cask at its absolute apex not despite its youthful age but because of it. We can confirm it is one of the most profound and intensely flavorful spirits you will ever taste and unlike anything else.

Updated newbie collection

About 3 months into my rum/tiki journey and feel like I’m finally rounding out most of what I need for tiki cocktails and neat sippers. I just replenished my S&C bottle and replaced my Pusser’s GP 109 bottle with the Hamilton 86/151 combo. So far Appleton 8, 12, and S&C are my favorite rums to make tiki drinks with and Appleton 8/12 and Santa Teresa 1796 are my favorite neat sippers. Doorly’s 12 is also a good sipper, and I mix with it in drinks that call for aged column still rums as a substitute. Only thing I feel like I might be missing now is a white OP, which will probably be filled by Wray & Nephew or Rum Fire at some point. Next liqueur pickup will be Rothman & Winter Apricot so I can give a Tradewinds and Saturn a try.

A tale of two (very different) Hampden bottles

Picked up these two in Seattle (hard to find and never inexpensive.)

I’m relatively new to rum. These two make me want to plan a trip to Jamaica. If there’s this much range between two bottles from the same producer, I can’t imagine what the rest of the island can offer.

Who else likes these?
