You mean like Bezos and Jensen Huang? They started off not rich and was able to make themselves rich which is basically what I was saying.

Being poor is not the same thing as being part of a caste. In India, people can often tell what caste you are simply by your last name. It's not the same thing as socioeconomic status. In the US, I might be living in extreme poverty while my sibling or cousin has a very different lifestyle with a high paying job. This simply doesn't happen under a caste system. You're not even allowed to work in an occupation outside of your caste.

Dude their point is in a caste system people expect you to stay in your place being poor upon your birth, your status is locked to your personal identity, it's to the point that one's surname denotes your status to people.

This is much less the case for the US.

Ah well in USA the ladder is just a lie lol they'll let you try to climb it but climbing something that doesnt exist is difficult
