This tells the story of a night-shift security guard, Tomioka Yuuj wishing for friends and turning his life around. Took me a day to complete.

I wanted to check it out because the plot synopsis hit very close to me so I thought this would be a manga that’ll connect to me a lot and after reading it… it was alright.

I would describe it as a mix between “Welcome to the N.H.K.” and “We Did It” with its themes and zany art style. Tomioka was a fine enough protagonist, he was funny and there were times where I felt was in his shoes before. But yeah, this didn’t hit as hard as I hope it would for me

Recently I had been reading " BLOOD ON THE TRACKS " and i really loved the story as well as the characters but recently I got a dream with similar vibe and since then I have been craving that feeling , a very depressing, desperate and cold feeling that give melancholy. Is there any manga or manhwa with similar vibe. I already read other similar manga like goodnight punpun and horizon so I need some less known manga.

This tells the story of Nawa Kanetsugu, a former police officer who’s been released from jail after killing the men that killed his family and becoming an immortal monster after meeting a Shinigami. Took me a day to complete.

While this was a metal series, it definitely should’ve been longer, something like 50 chapters would’ve benefited some characters, reveals and the ending would’ve hit harder as well. Masasumi’s art is fire as always.

It set in 3 kingdoms China basically a mix between kingdom and Logh but even better. Read mangadex.

Also I know it manhua but it’s written in the format of a manga.

I have read punpun which I really liked but I wouldnt read again and i have also read vinland saga which im pretty mixed on. What are some seinen worth checking out?

My manga collection after 7 months. 😂😂

It’s an ongoing series so there’s no conclusion but still very much worth checking out. She’s well known for Natsu no Zenjitsu but this one is a leap in quality compared to her earlier works.

In the last few weeks, I’ve seen this manga, We Did It - Bokutachi ga Yarimashita, pop out quite often on this sub. I wasn’t interested at first, but decided to give it a try after seeing it recommended for the 5th or 6th time.
And wow, I wasn’t disappointed at all to say the least. I really encourage you to read it. It’s been years since I haven’t binged a manga but this one completely hooked me.
For the one who like comparisons, I’d say it’s a bit like Good Night Punpun with more comedy, without the soul breaking atmosphere.

I have red a few shonen manga and i want to dip my toes into seinen. I have my eyes on a few. 1 is goodnight punpun than vagabond and finally the climber. I will probably read all of them but which one should i start with? Also i have watched vinland saga and im wondering if the manga is worth giving a shot.
