Sewing machine help
I have a Singer 6211c that used to work flawlessly. Recently the feed dogs stop moving fabric from stitch lengths 1-4, and on stitch length 5, it moves the fabric as if it was on stitch length 1. Does anyone know a fix to this?

Red circle is the slide block that adjusts stitch length. It should move against spring pressure as you adjust the knob or pump the reverse button. Is it gummed up and stuck? Somewhere below the blue circle is the pusher rod that moves the slide block. Does it move in and out with the knob adjustments and reverse button? The entire stitch length knob assembly can be removed for better access if needed

Here’s a video of what your described. Doesn’t seem like the red circle is gummed or stuck

Ok yes that looks good. The problem must be closer to the feed dogs. Are the feed dog teeth rising fully above the stitch plate? Does the presser foot have a good bit of spring pressure, and does it go all the way down and not hovering just above the plate?

Do the feed dogs move at all, like at least up and down? Or totally motionless? Does the machine still make stitches?
