Theory the Gallaghers are actually rich and they just pretend they're poor for fun. Lol on a real note at least by season 1 they got 10 stacks saved up in the cookie jar, lip and Ian are already employed, fiona is model pretty and they all have perfect white teeth. Better off than the bottom 50% of

Not to mention Lip eating himself a tasty hot pocket when Jimmy Steve is asking for his advice, literally name brand microwave meals and a full fridge and even coffee on standby.

I hate tammy, she made me lose interest in the show.

I started hating her when she started judging their bathroom condition, room and especially kitchen and all. Like som investigator!! B*tch they literally raised themselves!!!
I am happy that Fiona and she didn’t have many encounters, that would’ve been disastrous. Also she took away the charm of the show.
She is the least appealing and attractive love interests of Lip.

I’ve been watching Shameless UK recently, and I know people often dislike US Debbie. So I was wondering who everyone prefers.

I started this show out of nowhere as I was going through extreme family issues and somehow this show became my home, my family, my emotional comfort. I am literally crying right now because I fee very lonely now.

Can someone recommend me anything like this? A home feeling show?
It would be really helpful!!!

Edit: Thanks for suggestions y’all but please recommend something which is available on Netflix and I have watched Young Sheldon long ago!!

Thoughts on Franks "relationship" with Bianca?

I like to rewatch in random places and I landed around the time Frank met Bianca. During this rewatch, I felt very... icky about the whole situation. Frank thought it was one of his more selfless acts because he didn't rob her or take advantage in his usual ways, but he still very much took advantage of her. She tried to make him leave several times but he persisted and played on her deteriorating state of mind. He still used her for a ride then tried to use her passing for attention. I guess I never paid much attention to that arc but it was very sad to watch this time around.

Rewatching and forgot how insane this show is

This is my first rewatch of the show after watching it live for the last 3 seasons. I hated the ending so I never really felt like rewatching it, but I kept seeing tik toks of clips of the show and finally decided to rewatch it. I remember a lot of later seasons shenanigans (and insane writing), but I totally forgot some of the wild stuff that they do, even in the early seasons they are just doing crazy shit.

Like how often they dead with dead bodies??? Frank buried Aunt Ginger, Fiona moved aunt Ginger and then got ANOTHER dead body from the nursing home that V works in. Not to mention in a later season when they have to dig up Monica’s grave to get the coke. Absolutely nuts

Also I totally forgot about the threesome that V and Kev have with V’s mom, ew. (And then later when it didn’t even end up mattering bc the mom kept the baby, and V got pregnant with the twins anyway)

What are some other insane plot lines that caught you off guard in the first few seasons lol

I thought Kev was going to be a very different character

On my second watch of Shameless and the first episode reminded me of how I thought I was going to hate the Kev character. Especially after the scene where hes naked in front of Ian and doesn’t even cover up. Obviously I knew nothing about shameless then because thats a normal episode I found out. But im really glad that Kev wasnt a asshole and he turned out kinda more like a Ricky from Trailer Park Boys

Can anyone pls enlighten me about why the black lady said she can sue the owner because she is the only person of colour? I thought US took employees based on their skills.

Where did he find all this time?

Ford had time to be up Fiona’s behind, knock up multiple lesbians, and be married with kids..? I also can’t tell if he was lying to Fiona the whole time (about how he felt about her). Seems genuine but his character is hard to decipher.

Shameless does and amazing job at making you feel empathy for the WOSRT characters

I'm around season 6 episode 4 and HOLY SHIT my heart has been thrown for a loop

Frank losing Bianca made my heart shatter especially because nobody really understands that he DID care for her.

Fiona constantly makes me feel so bad for her even though she's a TERRIBLE person.

Monica is SO good at manipulating, her actress is amazing. She knows just how to say things to convince ME that she really wants to change and that she wants to stay with her kids and be a mom to them and every time she leaves it breaks my heart.

Sheila made me feel so bad for her throughout her entire time on the show. She let her daughter get groomed and statutory raped, she raped Frank and she tried to force Karen to keep her baby even though she didn't want to. Her agoraphobia mixed with her shitty husband made me feel so many different feelings all at once.

This show knows how to throw you for a loop and I LOVE it.

There are so many good examples of this happening in the show and I just wanted to know, when are times where YOU have felt her for a character like this?

Honorable mention: I HATED how Ian treated Mickey because of the whole Svetlana situation, he was deeply traumatized by being raped, forced into a marriage with her and made to pay house with a baby he obviously didn't want. But I also get Ian's side of things. Neither of them are at fault in my opinion, they both need therapy. Ian has to watch his boyfriend get "raped straight" with a gun pointed at him, watch him get married and have a baby with said woman so I know it BROKE his heart. I completely understand both Mickey and Ian's feelings in this (Svetlana's too) and I feel like people completely neglect that they BOTH went through a deeply traumatic event and couldn't heal from it because Svetlana and Terry were both still around.

I hated Sean. I hated how he treated & judged Fiona most of the time. Frank was right for exposing him before he married Fiona.

Finally got into shameless recently, been binging crazy. I can’t be the only one that fights my self with the choice of sleep or another episode.

Just started season 8

Can someone PLEASE tell me why Fiona is so hated?

Watched all seasons and still can't realise why Fiona is put on the same hate pedestal of her dad. A high school dropout who takes care of her entire family and is the financial organiser, carer, later guardian, and main earner. How the hell is she this hated?

Thoughts on Linda? Just as bad as Kash?

I’m rewatching Shameless (again.) and was wondering if you guys think Linda’s a victim or if she was also equally in the wrong. I’ve seen a lot of posts about Kash. Wondering your thoughts.
