News Any updated info on the bull shark attack at the Navy facility in Panama City?

I was trying to find follow up reporting on this attack but can’t find any.

It’s the first bull attack video I know of and the details seem sparse. Given it wasn’t a bite and release, but sustained attack, I’m wondering why there isn’t more interest to see if any other factors were at play influencing this shark’s behavior.

I’d guess territorial response and attracted to a swimmer splashing, but I surf near bulls and this behavior is still quite rare. Curious about the location, fishing practices, that type of thing.

Also was hoping to hear the victim recovered. And what became of the shark.

Maybe I am overlooking reporting and happy to be pointed to it. Thanks.

The media coverage of this is just winding me up sideways. I know human nature is to gawk and consume stories of worst nightmares whilst safe in our duvets, but....this was a horrific situation, not a predatory attack and the ways the stories play out versus Bears in woods (defending babies so you better be careful) or Lions (why would you be there?!), for example. Why do we get to think the ocean is our f-ing territory. I'm glad she survived of course, but its grinding all my gears how much this is being played out like a crime story with a dangerous criminal.
