Found recently! Anyone have an ID?

I bought some bulk shark teeth and it says its Moroccan scrap which upon research is just cuz some phosphate mining in the area unearths a lot of sandshark/mackerel shark teeth etc...which is cool.

The ones I found had a lot of broken parts but a few full teeth which was exciting (I tragically dont live in an area where I can easily hunt for my own).

This one tooth is missing its roots but it looks different than the others which are all easily grouped in a few different shapes sizes and colour's. Just wondering what type of shark it could be from? I was looking at pictures of fossilized teeth for species this type of thing normally has and I could match most of them fairly confidently but not this one. Lego just for scale

I have a question. My son loves everything shark (and me as his mom must admit i find them fascinating aswell lol) and he loves finding stuff and digging searching. So when I started to see how many shark teeth are found in different places it made me wonder because we live 15 minutes from the beach but on the other side of the world from America if we also have a chance of finding shark teeth on our beaches.

We live in ijmuiden the netherlands and we have 2 beaches close by and another one in Zandvoort the netherlands that we could go to with a short train ride.

Is there any chance we could find anything on our beaches? I'm assuming that it won't be as much as on other beaches but I want to know if there is any chance at all before I get my son's hopes up.

You all seems like a nice and very knowledgeable group of people so I figured this was the best place to get a good answer.

Trying to sort my teeth and the book I'm using doesn't have great photos for the crow sharks... Are all of these pictured at least some kind of crow shark? And if so are they all a singular species? Mainly looking for advice on how to identify them too. I tried to group them by feature and kind of failed, so sorry if they're a mess.

The last picture I have no idea, I'm thinking bottom left is a bull shark.

My kid likes to look for shark teeth while we are at the beach- mostly small bull shark fragments and what not. But he just found a “big” one (big for us, from browsing this sub I see you all are pulling things the size of slice of bread!?!) I think it’s too small to even be a juvenile megalodon, so maybe a juvenile great white? The fact it curbs a bit has me scratching my head. Thoughts? Thanks!

First day in Manasota Key, FL! Lots of broken ones but still a good first haul.

Bought cheap so I don’t mind if the answer is “nope.” But is this a Meg? If not, what am I holding?

hey everyone! new to finding and identifying shark teeth. i can’t tell if this is a small shark tooth(about as big as a finger nail), or if it is just a triangular shaped rock. what do you think? thanks!

Found on beach in Venice, FL. It is quite small but the root is very large so I was confused on the ID, thanks for any help!

There was very high tide and a lot of things coming in , and I found this in the sand and it has like an inner hard thing and like a shellish bonish outside part , I don't know how to explain it , but it's like it seems like it might be a tooth of something.And I'd like to know if it is , I would definitely put it on a necklace if it is it's really cool

First time poster, long time looker! Can anyone help identify the big tooth I found in MB South Carolina? Ive asked the silly bots like Gemini and Chat for a quick answer but they gave conflicting answers! Hoping the good humans of Reddit can lead me the right way! They came up with a few nice ones. These are two of the bigger ones. Not sure if they are Megalodon or not, but they look pretty cool.

So guys, recently I purchased a 5 1/2 inch NC megalodon tooth on ebay. The description says that it has not been restored, but I’m not sure about it. The root looks kinda strange to me. What do you think?

Looks like potential feeding damage to me, but could be wear and tear from the river. I’m not an expert, I just love looking for shark teeth.

Hey y’all! Found a tooth around half an inch in width and just over that in hight…not sure what species exactly and would love to know! Also, if there are any dichotomous keys for shark teeth hunting you recommend I’d love to know!
