How does a foreigner go about renting an electric moped/scooter/e-bike?

I booked a flight with a long layover (more than 8 hr) and am looking to book the free transit accommodation. Their website just keeps asking me to log in when I use the “Self-Service”->”transit accommodation”. I can’t sign up to have an account as every time I tried, it says the email already exists in the system, but I never signed up. I tried a different email than what I used to book my flight, but it still says the email already exists in their system! Go figure…

Feel like I am stuck in a loop here.

Any tips on how to book the transit accommodation from outside of China?
If I don’t book the transit accommodation now, could I end up not having a room if I just go to their counter at the airport when I arrive in Shenzhen?(it’s early to mid Sep)

I’m planning a family trip to Shenzhen and would really appreciate some recommendations from people who know the area well.

We will be travelling as two families:

• Me, my wife and our 3-year-old child
• My friend, his wife and their two 8-year-old children

We are mainly looking for places that are enjoyable and easy to visit with kids, such as parks, theme parks, carnivals, family attractions, interactive places, nice walking areas, etc.

We would also like recommendations for:

• Good street food areas or night markets
• Shopping areas/malls that are worth visiting
• Family-friendly places in Shenzhen
• Muslim-friendly or halal food areas/restaurants, as I am Muslim
• Any interesting nearby cities or places we can reach by high-speed train within around 2–3 hours from Shenzhen, for example Guangzhou or other recommended places

We are not necessarily looking only for famous tourist attractions. Local places that families actually enjoy would be even better.

If possible, please mention which places are especially suitable for a 3-year-old and which ones would be more enjoyable for the 8-year-olds as well.

Is it a good idea to have my MacBook from 2018 repaired there? I suspect that the charging electronics have a defect. Is it realistic to bring the laptop in the morning and get it back in the evening and does anyone have a good tip?

I’m looking for advice about getting to HK airport from Shenzhen. What is your preferred or method of transport?

I’m planning to get a low cost airline flight from HK airport to somewhere in South East Asia. The ferry from Shekou looks to be the easiest but not the fastest.

If I finish work just before 5pm on a Friday what’s the earliest I you recommend I should book a flight from HK?

I am also confused about the the process if my airline doesn’t have check-in at the Shekou ferry terminal. Would I need to enter HK immigration and then head to the airport?

Thankfully there's another intake period that opened up yesterday, but I'm worried I'm gonna get rejected again. The email said the reason was, and I quote: "Reason: If you wish to enroll in an overseas undergraduate program, please contact Shenzhen University Tokyo College first."

I have no idea what that means and why someone would go to the Tokyo college if they're trying to study in Shenzhen. Did anyone else get this email too? I applied really late.

I’m curious if anyone has opened a HK bank account with HSBC or another bank as a foreigner, what were the steps involved and were you able to open it from Shenzhen?
