Is it a requirement to be a pussywillow to be a SM. I recently transferred stored and my former SM is going around talking shit about me and telling complete lies as to why I transferred. Aren’t guys suppose to be less emotional 🤣

Mine did the same. My new manager sent a passive aggressive email to her and she is spreading a rumor that I hacked my boss’s account and I’m the one who sent her that email

My opinion is that the SM has a bruised ego.
How can someone possible not be happy to work at MY store with ME as their leader. Something is clearly wrong with THEM.
Proceeds to talk shit.
If not that, then maybe you were a genuinely difficult employee to have around.

Wow, sm in my district aren't like that. My sm in specific could careless about talking shit or hearing it. He rather help his employees move up. Sorry your district sounds miserable

My old manager tried to write me up for not coming in because my mother had terminal cancer.
Seems like you gotta fail an IQ test to be a manager.

Your old manager sounds like the worst human ever.
I hope your old manager mistints every future paint match and anytime they dispense new red it goes completely sideways.
I hope everytime your old manager tries to use the bathroom there's no more toilet paper.
I hope every call your store manager tries to log in Insight doesn't save ♡

As an SM I don't. We will complain about a lazy employee we have worked with. You know the breed we have at Sherwin. But the rule of business is to rub elbows and keep your opinions to yourself until someone worth sharing asks. Running your mouth about people is highschool BS. As an adult you should just do your job and keep your mouth shut before you give anybody a reason to think less of you or prove their negative opinions right.

If you do a good job, your reward is a bigger shovel. the only way to be a SM is to have a 4 year degree, regardless of work ethic, intelligence, or efficacy. Start giving minimal effort becuase they will never promote us.

Honestly maybe, so many of the store managers talk shit about so many employees in my district it's crazy.
My old store manager when I was an ASM talked so much crap about me and the rest of the store staff. They like to act nice to me now that I'm a sales rep though.
