I don't remember it being terrible, but for the price, I'd rather pay $4-5 less and get a Tombstone

id rather a digiorno pizza. I'm glad i bought one of each lol. I'll try the leftovers cold and see if it hits different. but i won't be buying this again.

Digiorno is more expensive than a Screamin Sicilian

u/OOOdragonessOOO 2h ago
it's one dollar cheaper here

Fair enough I guess. They're like 9$ where i am, I just get Red Baron for like $5

Frozen pizzas used to be so affordable and now they’re as if not more expensive than ordering one from a pizzeria! I’m glad Red Baron is still good quality and affordable compared to others. I buy one classic crust with supreme toppings and eat it with a massive salad from my garden weekly lol

I love the digiorno’s stuffed crust one but yeah it’s like $7 when dominoes is just a dollar more.

i went to check receipt, i was wrong. Digiorno is $2.50 cheaper. lol $6.49. the screamin was $8.99

X.49 is a sale/overstock price, usually. So it might be more expensive normally

I find it to be great for the price.

Funny enough, one year my brother and I tried all of the frozen pepperoni pizzas in the grocery store, and Screamin Sicilian was the best for the price to quality ratio.
I will say their meat lovers aren’t great though.

A few years ago I did the "try all the frozen pizzas" thing as well. Tested every pepperoni I could get my hands on.
I'm partial to Red Baron, the worst was DiGiorno.

Well when you douse it in Parmesan holy shit man. Surprised you can even taste the pizza!

You didn't cook the pizza!
It's not even close to done enough. User error.

These thicker crust frozen pizzas never turn out good. Need to have a cracker thin crust. Party pizzas still have by far the best for me pizza crust.

The instructions on the back are lying you gotta bake it on convection, then put it on a cooling rack on a pan when it's out, slice it and space the pieces out and put it under the oven vent to let the heat properly finish cooking it then put it back in the oven for 7 more minutes to crisp the edges and then put it back under the vent for a few and then once you realized it's taken almost an hour to properly make a frozen pizza

L take for sure. Screamin' Sicilian Mother of Meat is a fantastic frozen pizza because that shit is loaded compared to most frozen pizzas.

I remember them being pretty good for a frozen pizza, but haven't had one in nearly ten years.

u/caloroin 2h ago
They're still good and usually you can catch a BOGO sale on em. The cheese pizza is pretty good. You have like 5 brands.. I like Newman's Own pizza but I'll get this 2nd. It is a lot better than Red Baron or Digornio that's for damn sure. The Detroit Motor City isn't bad but it's just way too unhealthy for me

I got one in the spring this year and while the crust wasn't great, everything else was pretty solid. I got whatever they call their meat lovers and it had a shit ton of toppings. Good variety too.

I just buy a bunch of $7 Papa Murphy's pepperoni pizzas and throw them in the freezer, thaw before baking

I was excited to try Screamin pizza after seeing so many people talking about how good it was so I picked one up on sale. I was disappointed because it tasted basically like every other frozen pizza I have ever tried. It was only marginally better than a Mama Celeste but like 4 times more costly.

One of those brands that uses quirky art and brown cardboard packaging to draw people in

It really is awful. Somehow the cheese doesnt taste like cheese and the sause is almost like a taco bell sause packet. The bread is sad and mushy but nkt chewy, the meat topping taste old and of stale pepper
2
u/OOOdragonessOOO 3h ago
that's exactly how it was. meat is very bland. unseasoned almost. I'm white but not that white.

Definitely an error on your side that pizza is only about halfway done. Also pepperoni version is goated
