Web Video Function Stopped Working

Hey Paul, thank you for all you do, shutter encoder is incredible.

When I was working in it today I downloaded a few vids using web video, which was working great but after a few it stopped working. (tried default, bestvideo+audio, etc.). It would run the function, and very quickly go to 100 percent and no file would download.

I ran the update by typing in the url, it updated, but to no avail.

I figured this issue was caused by some Youtube alg protections or something of the sort, but just wondering if you knew of a workaround or anything to solve.

Hi,

It happens sometimes because as you said, YT is changing their algorithm protections.

It needs a bit of time for the backend tool (yt-dlp) to update to the newest algorithm.

We can't do much more unfortunately, just to wait for a new yt-dlp release (automatically updated at SE startup).
