Not gonna stop me from worshipping the goddess, roxy.

57

u/Ashne405 1d ago

Its ok, the mod is a roxy fan so she isnt hit by it.

59

u/Lanky-Concern7735 1d ago

rules for thee not for me ahh

-16

u/ViolenceAdvocator 1d ago

Roxy is an adult

0

u/Old-Post-3639 15h ago

Roxy is an adult. After a point, she's technically considered a MILF. As long as you aren't blatantly using it as a proxy (pun not intended, but appreciated) for a Lolita complex, you should be good.

-37

u/BananaHammockKnight 1d ago

Nobody is trying to stop you from worshipping Roxy. They just don't want you to be sexual about drawings of kids, is that really so weird dude?

32

u/TheBirdFkerGuy Roxy 1d ago

Roxy is over 40 you larper.

-11

u/BananaHammockKnight 1d ago

Yes, thats why i said nobody is trying to stop you from worshipping roxy? Even eris can read more than that, average sword god style user over here 🤣

44

u/Lord_Lu_Bu 1d ago

Roxy is a loli so she would fall under these dumb rules. So the mods are in fact stopping us from worshipping Roxy

-12

u/m1chaeldgary Eris 1d ago

This whole thing is stupid. They didn’t Roxy in a single spot. It say young characters. Underaged characters. Roxy isn’t underaged, so it doesn’t apply to her, period.

You guys are over-interpreting a pretty simple rule so you can be more angry.
It’s a strawman. If anything it actually explicitly permits Roxy in the “examples.”

You people are disingenuous.

32

u/Lord_Lu_Bu 1d ago

It says lolis which Roxy is, it doesn't just apply to young characters because then Kirishika would be exempt too but people were banned for posting her. So make the rule make sense. Are all lolis banned? Are just children banned but adult lolis are ok? Then why is Kirishika banned she is 7000 years old? This rule makes literally no sense and just amounts to mods picking and choosing who to ban for arbitrary reasons

are you seriously so uncreative in your rituals that you need to recycle the same one emoji combo and years old slang? that don’t even make sense for roxy because she’s an adult. loli =/= child.

8

u/TheBirdFkerGuy Roxy 1d ago

Uh, you do realize =/= means not equal to, right?

-4

u/username26437 1d ago

that’s the point yes, what do you not understand?

10

u/TheBirdFkerGuy Roxy 1d ago edited 1d ago

The new rule bans loli stuff.

Roxy would be a victim of that rule in theory.

You seemed to be arguing that she wouldn't be effected because she's an adult... despite also acknowledging an adult can be drawn as a loli. Which is what the rule targets, loli stuff.

so I assumed you are misusing =/= since you would be refuting yourself. So i now assume you didn't know the rule is no loli stuff

Edit: you can downvote me doesn't change the fact you didn't know what you're talking about. Also this person explained why it wouldn't make sense for the no loli rule not to apply to roxy https://www.reddit.com/r/sixfacedworld/comments/1w3sib3/comment/p73bya9/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=mweb3x&utm_name=mweb3xcss&utm_term=2&utm_content=share_button

Seriously the hell is wrong? Is this sub seriously taken over by tourists? Now acting as mods

17

u/DarkenVragon 21h ago

This is just funny. "Yeah I volunteer to mods on a community known to be pdf and I'm okay with it, let me also use one of the characters confirmed as loli in episode 1 because I am definitely not that kind of pdf"

Like seriously? Why? Why are you willing to moderate a community you think are pdf?

5

u/Naija_Boi 17h ago

Happened to the Umamusume sub and official Discord server when the game went global. I have no doubt a similar situation is happening.

2

u/comelickmyarmpits 16h ago

But how this hostile takeover is even possible in case mods ? Surely the original mods who created the sub loved the series but how then we came here how this tourists got the control of sub I don't get it

2

u/Naija_Boi 14h ago

Might have recruited the wrong mod.

10

u/Lower-Bandicoot-6397 Sylphy 22h ago

That's what I'm wondering too.

It's a truly ridiculous situation.

5

u/zackandcodyfan 20h ago edited 20h ago

Just saying, because this might be an interesting bit of information: the mod in question appears to be a supporter of the German far-right AfD party. The blue heart in their username next to the German flag is often used by people to indicate support for the party, and the colour scheme in their profile picture was specifically invented by right-wing influencers to attack queer people.

2

u/Filippikus 15h ago

Maybe he did it just because it looks kinda cool

1

u/zackandcodyfan 12h ago

I can see how one might think that, but nope. I'm from Germany and I assure you this exact colour pattern is exclusively used by far-right nationalists. The blue heart is also a dead giveaway, because in the context of German politics, it is universally recognised as expressing support for the AfD.

65

u/reydshadowlegend 1d ago

take my reddit points

76

u/Cayennesan 1d ago

If the mod's belief that "it's fictional is not a defense" was actually true then Rifujin, Shirotaka and the team that adapted his story into an anime wouldn't have been allowed to deliver this masterpiece, they'd be in jail for creating it. Watching or downloading it would be illegal too

-26

u/username26437 1d ago

they literally said you could post aisha at the beach, which has ecchi implications.

they just don’t want explicit loli hentai (which could get the sub banned too btw) or the sub being overrun by that uncreative emoji culture that serves no purpose to MT and only attracts bad actors both internally and externally.

this is completely irrelevant to MT novels and anime. furthermore the novels and anime are both quite conservative in the depiction both in quantity and severity.

25

u/Lord_Lu_Bu 1d ago

Ok so then if someone posts a pic of Roxy in a swimsuit and someone replies "she looks hot".....is that against the rules? Because if we are following what the rules say it would be. If posting Roxy or Kirishika or young Eris / Sylphy is "attracting bad actors" then maybe you need to reevaluate who are the actual fans and who the tourists are. Characters are part of the show, people should be able to post their favorites and discuss them and fawn over them like EVERY FANDOM EVER and stop with trying to appeal to normies who wanna censor and sanitize all the risque elements of the series.

-7

u/username26437 1d ago

roxy is not a young character, so it wouldn’t be against the rules.

and that is such a wild strawman. I said the banned language attracts bad actors, not posting characters????????. it’s language that is widespread across many fandoms and not at all exclusive to MT, and use of it always attracts bad actors to the fandoms. you can post young eris/sylphy, and presumably even swimsuit arts of them, just not porn. and you can say they’re cute and “fawn over them”, you just can’t indicate your desire to have sex with them. this is NOT difficult to understand.

13

u/Lord_Lu_Bu 1d ago

Kirishika is not a young character and people have been banned for posting her

I said the banned language attracts bad actors, not posting characters????????. it’s language that is widespread across many fandoms and not at all exclusive to MT, and use of it always attracts bad actors to the fandoms

If you wanna ban emojis then that is fine, but they are banning ANY LANGUAGE that "sexualizies" loli characters, that is too broad a brush.

just not porn. and you can say they’re cute and “fawn over them”, you just can’t indicate your desire to have sex with them. this is NOT difficult to understand.

This is a strawman because no one was posting porn here, people were LITERALLY just posting screenshots FROM THE EPISODE and getting banned. Someone got banned because they referred to Kirishika's horns as handlebars lol. Also, why the hell not? THE SHOW DOES IT, there is entire scenes of Rudy talking about banging Roxy and how small and sexy her body is ffs, stop trying to censor and sanitize Mushoku.

If people can talk about how much they wanna bang Atofe then people should be able to say the same about Roxy. If you are that ashamed of the fandom and want to embrace this Puritanism and censorship then you are way worse than any of the "bad actors". I'd rather have 1000 fans of MT who post [bannable emoji] under pics of Roxy and Kirishika than even ONE tourist who wants to make Mushoku into family friendly censored slop because they are too embarrassed by ecchi in their anime.

Also, FYI, this doesn't stop at lolis, it never does. Lolis get banned first, but next up I give this sub a couple months before ALL fanservice or ecchi images are banned. No cleavage, not even of adult characters, no panty shots, no "objectification" of women etc.... Because that is what puritans and tourist always go for. If that is the direction you want this sub to go in then cool, I don't, just don't cry when they ban you from posting Ghislane or adult Eris when the 2nd cour drops.

-4

u/username26437 1d ago

so why are you ignoring the first sentence of my reply. literally just read the rule, it says young characters, not lolis. so roxy is fine, because she’s not young.

frankly I don’t believe you saying they banned people for posting screenshots of the episode. well, I do, but the reason certainly wouldn’t be because it was explicit imagery, it would be due to rule 7. misrepresenting this so wildly and obviously has me doubting any of your other claims are remotely honest.

i’m a hardcore fan of MT and have been since s1e1 aired, and have watched my fair share of ecchi anime and enjoyed them. if i’m STILL embracing puritanism and a tourist then these terms mean absolutely nothing.

I said this in another comment, but I don’t care if you do your lolicon stuff in media that embraces and caters to it. but that’s not what MT is. and honestly people who think MT is about that getting filtered is an even better effect this would have.

slippery slope argument is just stupid. doesn’t solve the issue, and the difference in scale between loli and just sexualization across the board is MASSIVE. and they didn’t even ban loli, per roxy. just a poor attempt at justifying your side.

7

u/AnarcrotheAlchemist 23h ago

It doesn't become acceptable just because you attach it to an adult character.

Literally in the rules update.

They aren't differentiating. Its all loli characters.

0

u/username26437 23h ago

there’s no way you’re not purposely misrepresenting this. that is in reference to the coded language, not general sexualization. like this is only in the post there’s no way you got to that part and don’t understand the context.

2

u/AnarcrotheAlchemist 23h ago

Yes you can't use that language when talking about Roxy... an adult. Its all loli's not underage characters.

1

u/username26437 23h ago

listen, just read the above conversation please. this isn’t about the language, it’s about sexualization. coded language =/= sexualizing comments. it’s very clear what it means if you know it, and if you don’t know it you don’t need to worry.

Aisha is a child in every bit of (art) media we currently have by the author. Aisha is, without doubt, a child character.

Allowing Aisha bikini posts as long as it “has an nsfw tag” is literally them saying “ don’t post child porn unless you cover it lol”

The mods are pedos.

-8

u/lvl100-Platypus-Lord 22h ago

Thats not whats being said at all.

One is literature.

The other is a subreddit that invites interaction.

They are not the same.

-34

u/pogo-n-watches 1d ago

The first season of the show has depictions of children engaging in consensual and nonconsensual sexual behaviors narrated by a creepy adult. None of those scenes are meant to titillate the viewer, they are just telling the story of Rudeus and Sylphie/Eris growing up. There are no lewd scenes of children.

19

u/Cayennesan 1d ago

The it's-not-fanservice cope aside, do you think it would be okay to produce this show in live action with actors of the same ages described in the anime?

Mind that the original post was locked by the mods, are they not aware of what series is this subreddit about? what a joke.

16

u/Hikari_Owari 1d ago

are they not aware of what series is this subreddit about?

They sound bought.

-17

u/m1chaeldgary Eris 1d ago

Are YOU not aware of what the series is about??

It depicts Rudy’s sexual behavior as reprehensible; it creates a contrast for when he learns and grows later on. The series does not, overall, endorse or encourage pedophilia.
You guys are the joke. This is insanity…

16

u/DickTear 1d ago

The issue is that, while the story portrays those actions as reprehensible, the anime, manga, and official merchandise still sexualize those characters. For example, the first Blu-ray included a poster of Roxy in lingerie or “Roxy gets serious” an official spinoff manga that has one or multiple panels per chapter of a younger version of Roxy’s underwear.

Sexualizing or liking lolicon content it’s not the problem, the issue would be with people that is able to endorse young Rudeus behavior.

4

u/Weeb_twat Rinia 1d ago

ISTG a lot of MT fans are straight up incapable of understanding what the story's overarching message is. They just think "Rudeus is such a cool dude" (he is) and actively tune out the several books worth of introspection, change and self improvement that he goes through.

6

u/Cirno__ 1d ago

Can you explain why in the sieghard after story, rudeus encourages the marriage between a noble and a minor? He uses it as a teaching moment for his son.

-5

u/EscapeFromTLH 1d ago

They're getting super defensive and doubling down because it's triggering self reflection as a side effect. All that is expected is that they be a little less cringe about their taboo fetish but they're too emotionally charged to see that nothing substantial has changed.

9

u/DickTear 1d ago

Liking Lolicon content doesn’t make you a pedophile and while I agree on private spaces of not wanting to have anything to do with that type of content it doesn’t make sense for a MT subreddit.

Why?

Because MT itself doesn’t have problem sexualizing said character, for example, the first Blu-ray included a poster of Roxy in lingerie or “Roxy gets serious” an official spinoff manga that has one or multiple panels per chapter of a younger version of Roxy’s underwear.

What I dislike is the behavior some people have towards young Rudeus actions such as endorsing or defending his behavior.

2

u/EscapeFromTLH 1d ago

Yeah, I'm not here to police the morality of cartoon fiction. It's more about what kind of face you want to show to newcomers in the community. Someone who can't handle the show is not going to come here to engage in good faith and there's no reason to cater to them. However, there are a lot of people like myself who aren't like pre-truck Rudeus, who could feel more comfortable participating in the community if it didn't appear so much like a porn site comment section. Like, there are dedicated subreddits for fetish gooning if that's what you want.

As far as merchandising goes, that's just supply and demand doing capitalism. No room for a debate about that.

3

u/Lord_Lu_Bu 1d ago

The rule makes no sense and is being enforced in a nonsensical way. If they want to just make a rule that says "no NSFW of young looking characters" THEN DO THAT! This vague as "don't sexualize lolis" rule doesn't mean anything....what counts as a loli? What counts as sexualizing? Is Roxy part of this rule because she is a loli and the show itself sexualizes her.....if not then why does Kirishika count? She is shown to be a 7000 year old adult who drinks and parties and has a fiancé....it's almost as if this rule is too vague and lends itself to wild misinterpretation by everyone

19

u/Separate_Selection84 23h ago

I just find it funny that people think up "coded language" as if it needs to be deciphered and is being used by a cabal of evil Pedophiles. We know what actual pedos use as code words and it ain't that.

I understand not wanting sexualization of younger characters (Roxy being depicted as a loli despite not fitting the description of a loli could be added to that) but this whole thing feels pretentious and a bit dumb

37

u/Arkhire 1d ago

reddit is a nesting ground for mentally retarded people, give them a bit of power (mods) and they will go nuts enforcing their retarded ideas.

they will call everyone a pedo for liking anime girls, meanwhile actual pedophiles harm real kids, but the word will lose all value and meaning because of retards like these, same happened with "nazis" and "racists".

-15

u/BananaHammockKnight 1d ago

But nobody is saying you are a pedo for liking anime girls? They are saying don't make sexualizing comments about em? At least not publicly

9

u/HELiXDzn 1d ago

the mods are crying on twitter and calling anyone who likes loli pedos.

-1

u/BananaHammockKnight 1d ago

I havent seen any of that, got a source?

3

u/HELiXDzn 1d ago

and if that's not enough you've got multiple retards in this sub already going around calling people pedophiles, just go check the recent post by zodiacv2 on this sub. This is the kind of BS rules like this invites.

I didnt see anywhere in that twitter did they call anyone who likes loli, a pedo. I think you're reading into that, and strawmanning them.

3

u/HELiXDzn 1d ago

I don't think I'm reading into it

7

u/Lord_Lu_Bu 1d ago

The MC says sexualizing comments about his own loli wife in the show lol. By the logic of this mod posting screenshots of Rudy talking about Roxy is enough to get banned

4

u/BananaHammockKnight 1d ago

Right but he's not out here like "[banned phrase] she looks like a young girl, so hot, so [banned], so [banned] [banned emoji]" He's like "she's so pretty. To a stranger she might look young, but i know she's not"

I really think this subreddit should have a rule for naming posts, since there are a lot that don't give credit to the artists, but the whole loli thing is ridiculous.

Man I don’t even like or care about Loli but this shit is so out of touch, like, one of the MC’s wives is a Loli no matter what you say, I can only conclude that mods are a bunch of tourists and so I’m out of this shit

46

u/Moffuchi 1d ago

So tl:dr mods of this subs are seething about Loli stuff in subreddit about anime where main character is a lolicon himself?

25

u/Leading_Look_8295 1d ago

The Wataten subreddit did this too. And honestly it's more explicit in that anime...

-11

u/CatParticular2190 1d ago

That's the same shitty logic again. A character being a lolicon is a trait of that character, not a rule telling the audience what they should be. By that logic, if a character is violent, immoral, or a terrible person, people should be allowed to say "why can't I be like them?" Describing a character's behavior doesn't mean endorsing or copying it.

1

u/Moffuchi 17h ago

If you gather up all brain cells to form one thought, maybe you'll understood that no one here posting real CP and gooning after real deal.
It's really easy.
But if one thought is hard, let me help you, if a fan of the brutal game, posting how he likes brutality in a videogames, that doesn't mean they literally going outside to murder people.

It's part of the fiction, literally otaku fandom, if loli and shota is too much for someone and they cannot differentieate it from reality, they are part of the problem, not otakus.

0

u/CatParticular2190 17h ago edited 17h ago

If you gather up all brain cells to form one thought, maybe you'll understood that no one here posting real CP and gooning after real deal.

Brother where the hell did I say you were posting or wanting the real thing???? That isn't even the argument here.... Lowkey you are deliberately replacing the actual criticism with a ridiculous claim nobody made, then congratulating yourself for “refuting” it . That's not an argument we are talking about is just you arguing with a strawman because you don't have an answer to the actual point I made and many others...

If a fan of the brutal game, posting how he likes brutality in a videogames, that doesn't mean they literally going outside to murder people.

And again don't know who said it does here. Ngl Your analogy completely misses the point here. Nobody is claiming that consuming fictional violence turns someone into a murderer. The discussion is about the sexualization of characters depicted as minor and whether that content is reasonably open to criticism. “They aren't going outside and doing it” does absolutely nothing to address that bruh....

Lowkey you are also just confusing two completely different questions Does consuming fictional content mean someone will commit the real-life act?” and “Is the fictional content itself something people can criticize or object to? The first has nothing to do with the second does it? You are literally keep answering the first question because that again I didn't made and you are attacking that because it's much easier than addressing the second..

if loli and shota is too much for someone and they cannot differentieate it from reality, they are part of the problem, not otakus.

Once again, nobody here said fiction and reality are the same. If you understand simple thing then you can understand someone can understand perfectly well that something is fictional and still consider the sexualization of minors disturbing, inappropriate, or worthy of criticism. Being fictional does not place something above criticism, and “it's fiction” is not an argument that automatically settles the devate here..

The funniest part is that you are accusing others of lacking critical thinking while your entire defense depends on pretending the criticism is “fiction is equal to reality.” That's not what was said, and repeating that strawman doesn't make it true.

You haven't actually addressed my argument even once bro. You just changed the subject here, attacked a position I never have here, and then declared yourself correct. If your only answer is “it's fictional and nobody is doing it IRL,” then you haven't defended the content at all. You've merely avoided the actual criticism because you don't have an answer to it. Just accept the truth.

So please stop arguing against the imaginary position you created and address the argument that was actually made.

2

u/Moffuchi 17h ago

>nothing to say about the actual criticism
>The comparison is also completely beside the point.
>The issue is what kind of content you’re defending and normalizing

Let me phrase it for you so it would be even more easier — it's okay for the people who like "thing" to express themselves in the community of a media that have that "thing".
Be it fictional rape, murder, lolies, or anything else, this doesn't mean everyone should like the "thing", but it doens't mean that you can dictate if "thing" is allowed or not, it's a part of the media you consuming with other people.

Also lol, I'm not sure if you really meant it, but loli IS a part of otaku culture, it's already normalized there, it's normal to like it.

0

u/CatParticular2190 17h ago

it's okay for the people who like "thing" to express themselves in the community of a media that have that "thing".

And where did I say they cannot express themselves??? That is not what I said at all. People can like something and talk about it, that does not mean the content suddenly becomes free from criticism.

this doesn't mean everyone should like the "thing", but it doesn't mean that you can dictate if "thing" is allowed or not

Again, where did I say I get to dictate what people can like? That is a completely different point. A person being free to like something does not mean a subreddit has to allow every type of post about it. That is what moderation and subreddit rules are for.

it's a part of the media you consuming with other people.

And? Being part of the media does not automatically make every form of that content acceptable or immune from criticism does it. That logic does not follow at all bro not at all..

loli IS a part of otaku culture, it's already normalized there, it's normal to like it.

Okay, and how does “it is normalized” prove anything? Something being common in a certain community does not make it beyond criticism. “It is normal because it is normalized” is not exactly a strong argument.

The main issue is that the whole time the debate keeps shifting. First it was “people are not posting the real thing,” then “fiction is different from reality,” and now it is “loli is part of otaku culture, so people should be able to post it.” None of that actually addresses the criticism bro fr..

People can like it. People can discuss it. People can also criticize it. Those things can exist at the same time.

1

u/Moffuchi 16h ago

Okay, good, we almost got there, proud of you.

And now we reached final part.
Is it okay to restrict people from talking or expressing themselves in a community of a media that contains it? Just because someone personally don't like it, or as you say "criticize it"?

1

u/CatParticular2190 16h ago edited 16h ago

Is it okay to restrict people from talking or expressing themselves in a community of a media that contains it?

If you mean simply talking about the fact that loli exists in the series no, I am not saying that should be restricted. If you mean posting or promoting sexualized loli content, then yes, I think a community is allowed to restrict that.

Broother my criticism is specifically about the sexualization of characters depicted as minors. The fact that it exists in the source material does not mean I have to accept or support it.

So no, I am not trying to restrict people from discussing the series. I am saying I oppose that content, and I think it is fair to criticize it or for a community to restrict it.

2

u/Moffuchi 16h ago

>I have to
Personally, you don't need to, it's your right. But someome might like it and enjoy it, author literally gave fanservice to a person like that.

It's strange when person in power who don't like certain aspects of the title can tell people in community what they CAN or CAN'T post or talk about/express themselves, when author literally don't mind those people reading his fiction and giving them fanservice.

1

u/CatParticular2190 16h ago edited 15h ago

Personally, you don't need to, it's your right. But someone might like it and enjoy it, author literally gave fanservice to a person like that.

And again I am not arguing that people are not allowed to like it. I am saying I am just opposing the sexualization of minors, and I am allowed to criticize and object to that content. The author including it as fanservice does not make it something I have to accept or support.

It's strange when person in power who don't like certain aspects of the title can tell people in community what they CAN or CAN'T post or talk about/express themselves

Why is that strange? A moderator's job is literally to enforce the rules of the community. The author having included something in the series does not mean the subreddit has to allow every type of content related to it.

And calling it “fanservice” does not change what the content is. If the fanservice is sexualizing characters depicted as minors, I can criticize it and I can support a community deciding not to allow that kind of content.

author literally don't mind those people reading his fiction and giving them fanservice.

The author's willingness to include something in the story is not an argument tbh for why I should approve of it. Authors can write whatever they want, and readers and anime watchers are still allowed to criticize what they wrote.

You are basically debated that because the author included and tolerated something, everyone else should tolerate it too. That does not follow.

Fuck em.

Lolis are PEAK! 😭😭😭

Ban me, you virtue-signaling hypocrites!

10

u/ShadowDxebec101 21h ago

Can't the mods be removed. It's clear that they doesn't represent this sub anymore and actively going against the series itself. They would even ban the author if they could.

5

u/BlackHust 21h ago

How long until r/MushokuUnmoderated or something like that appears lol

4

u/ZevenMortem 1d ago

Time to go to the othe sub.

1

Which one?

1

u/ZevenMortem 22h ago

r/mushokutensei or /JoblessReincarnation

3

u/UnitReign Roxy 21h ago

Wasn't this sub created cuz MT sub imploded tho D:

3

u/QuickRespawn 1d ago

Ill be the new mod to the new channel, guys!

3

u/Key-Poem9734 20h ago

A bit 'tyranical', not like I'd say it was a bad move, but a bit shitty since it is still too close to censorship for my liking

3

u/SacaeGaming 15h ago

Interesting that the rules say “no sexualizing minors”

Then directly says, “ya posts marked NSFW with Aisha are alright”

Mods are PDFs tryna flip the blame on average viewers.

14

u/NeptuneTTT 1d ago edited 1d ago

Funny post.

Personally, I am vehemently anti-censorship. However, as someone whose been around the block, it's time to move on. Honestly, I'm grateful they didn't pull a complete ban on said fan art like that joblessreincarnation sub. But certain fanart will eventually get banned here, 100% lol, trust me.

I 100% support the creation of a new sub that doesn't bow to the tourist virus though. So please, trust me, it aint worth the fight. It's time to build your own house.

Meanwhile, I'll be sitting back eating my popcorn watching the shit storm mods have unleashed.

Edit: replace sub name with the right one.

u/TomorrowImpossible32 1d ago

Problem is, it really is that “go make your own place” “why are you excluding us” “go make your own place” comic. The cycle won’t end until we can actually gatekeep.

11

u/Lanky-Concern7735 1d ago

Well otherwise we won't have "a space that fans can actually be proud of" 🥺 Meaning more people calling the fans and the author a pdf weirdo (i.e reddit moderators, critical consumer "fans") 💔

-5

I'm happy that the new rule is here. I got tired of seeing 'those kinds' of posts and blocking the 'those kinds' of posters. There's a huge irony in mushoku tensei being a story about a guy growing out of his immature, stunted mindset and the entire subreddit wanting to be the kind of person rudeus was before he got a second chance.

21

u/Hikari_Owari 1d ago

I got tired of seeing 'those kinds' of posts

If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.

You being tired of something does not mean everyone else should conform to it, and the worst part is that if everyone else mad at the rules decide to make a new sub, people like you will mald and either try to ban the other sub or try to force people to moderate there like it is being done here.

Don't be insufferable.

14

u/Lord_Lu_Bu 1d ago

You act as if Rudy isn't married to Roxy and specifically had a monologue about how hot her loli body is just a few episodes ago lol

25

u/Cayennesan 1d ago

There's a huge irony in Star Wars being a story about a guy growing out of his genocidal mindset and the entire Battlefront fanbase wanting to be the kind of person Darth Vader was before he sacrificed himself

-17

u/TheRedArcher 1d ago

I'm cool with a story about a genocidal character, though I would prefer that people in real life refrain from doing genocide. I'm cool with a story about an 'extreme deviant' character, but would prefer if people in real life refrain from doing 'extreme deviant' things (like the aforementioned posts lol)

17

u/Cayennesan 1d ago

Wanting to play as Vader mowing down his victims in a game doesn't make you genocidal and indicate you want to do a real genocide?

-1

u/TheExchanges 19h ago

Vader is a fucking bum in this game, you tourist. No one is a victim fighting him in BF2

-8

u/Weeb_twat Rinia 1d ago

YOU, posting in REAL LIFE about how sexually attracted you are to CHILDREN, be it drawings or not, is not the same as playing le evil character in le video game.

You guys keep doing this false equivalence thing to deflect the main point, which is that acting like a deranged pervert posting art of kids in sexually compromising scenarios and loudly proclaiming how much you wanna have sex with them, is extremely weird and disgusting. And no, the "it's just a drawing" excuse isn't valid, you are attracted to them for their child-like features, that is call being a pedophile.

Stop being a facetious cunt and admit you have a problem.

10

u/Cayennesan 1d ago

Murdering innocent people is wrong, be it in a video game or not. I can't believe you're defending genocide. And no, the "it's just a video game" excuse isn't valid

1

u/TonyTonynotchopper 1d ago

someone that did something to his underage cousin anyway?

1

u/TheRedArcher 1d ago

To be fair I'm pretty sure the absolute worst/sus version of rudeus (retconned) from the web novel never actually did anything to his cousin besides look at pictures. He never actually abused anyone.

3

u/TonyTonynotchopper 1d ago

his cousin eris dude, the one he ends up marrying.

you are confusing his cousin with his niece

-4

u/TheRedArcher 1d ago

In that case, I don't really see post reincarnation Rudeus as the 'same' as pre reincarnation Rudeus. He says in episode 1 that despite his mom being hot, he isn't attracted to her, which proves to me that his mental state is dictated at least somewhat by the body he is in. In that context a kid having a crush on another kid isn't really that weird.

1

u/Visoth Zenith 16h ago

1

u/TheRedArcher 10h ago

Again, a kid having a pushy or weird interaction with another kid isn't as weird as an adult doing it. If you see Rudeus as 'the same person' as he was pre-reincarnation then I get where you're coming from, but if you see him as literally a kid who inherits the memories of someone else then it's much less weird (but still weird).

0

u/Visoth Zenith 10h ago

What would compel a 7 year old boy to sexually molest a child, and then in inner monologue, discuss with himself the potential of her breasts growth size?

That's a large leap to take.

Rudeus is Rudeus. He is the Rudeus from his previous life, given a second chance. He's not a new person who inherited someone elses memories. He was written this way to show his depravity, and to eventually better himself from it.

I doubt I can convince you of this, so I will leave this topic to end here. I hope you can see it from my perspective, because I definitely do not from yours. I don't buy it.

1

u/TheRedArcher 10h ago

I do understand your perspective, As I said in the comment you are replying to, if you see Rudeus as the same person as the person he was before then its extremely weird. I literally see him as a different person, just with memories transplanted. The story has established that thoughts are influenced by his new body in the very first episode, and many of the decisions he makes in season 1 are surprisingly immature (and fitting for a kid), so much so that I find it hard to believe that Rudeus is acting more like a 30 something year old then a 7 year old. If you want to understand my perspective, just imagine if Rudeus was born as a totally separate person, then because of a weird magical event inherits the memories of someone from a different world... lets say, a week or a few months after he is born. Functionally he ends up acting the exact same way as the Rudeus from the show, but now you're forced to see him as literally a kid with someone elses memories.

-1

u/BananaHammockKnight 1d ago edited 1d ago

Agreed. And the r/mushokutensei subreddit is still very much there, and they can discuss these loli things there, its not like its properly moderated anyway. *Edited for spelling

Please don't come over here either with this shit.

-1

u/vivyomi 1d ago

0:51 in OP's video, "Why should we care if we have a pedophile in our community" has to be the craziest thing I've ever read lol. Gotta be the most blatant self report I've seen.

These guys are all about separating reality from fiction and arguing that sexualizing lolis doesn't translate to irl pedophilia, but then go on to admit there are actual pedophiles consuming this content as if it's a normal thing and that they should be left alone because the anime gives off pedo vibes. Sickening.

-2

u/username26437 1d ago

it’s absolutely ridiculous. like, go and do your lolicon shit with media that caters to it, fine I honestly don’t care. i’m not gonna call you a predator for enjoying mahoako.

but taking an extremely well written story and trying to claim it as yours to fetish spam just because the mc molests a child and makes distasteful jokes in a fraction of a fraction of the early story is so cringe.

Anime and autism go hand in hand and a lot of autistics miss character growth in their special interest medium. Case in point, has Christian Weston Chandler ever learned a life lesson from Sonic or My Little Pony?

-1

u/TheUsername-IsTaken Sylphy 1d ago

Hasty generalization at its peak

1

u/Leading_Look_8295 1d ago

I didn't say everyone that likes anime is autistic. Moreso that it attracts many autistic people. And some autistic people tend to not learn lessons from character development in the stoties they consume. And due to the fact that those same people will spend more time online than a neurotypical person they become an over representated minority of fans in online spaces.

Is that less generalized and more clear or am I still missing the point?

-2

u/TheUsername-IsTaken Sylphy 1d ago

Yes, that is much less generalized than saying that anime and autism are closely connected with one another

An objectively good rule change lmao, thoes fuck ass emojis are so godamn annoying

2

u/sirtalksalot111 Emperor 10h ago

Sadly, a lot of people seem to disagree with you, though. There is no talking to these people, if making some tiny rule changes already creates this much of a shitstorm, despite this changing very little in terms of what can be posted.

I didn't know that there'd already been this many infiltrators in this community, trying to destroy it from within. This is actually insane! The story already has so many unhinged haters, but with allies like these.....who needs enemies? Am I right?

-6

u/TheUsername-IsTaken Sylphy 1d ago

Especially when its spammed in every horny fanart post in this sub (a big part of this sub)

1

u/dranke1917 1d ago

I think the one universal negative from either side is that now this specific subreddit sixfacedworld is not more known than before. The main appeal to this subreddit over the MT subreddit was that it was harder to find and only light novel readers would understand the names connection with the series.

Now it’s been blasted on the MT side of twitter where a lot of haters (for some reason) like to lurk to hate and the discourse for the new subreddit rules are blasted anywhere with a community for MT. It’s looking like it might be the end of the subreddit as a more “private” place for the more serious MT fans.

-22

u/Lancelotmore 1d ago

People are creepy, subreddit rules were added to try and stop people from being creeps here. It's probably partially in reaction to some posts blowing up in other subs talking about how creepy MT fans are.

It's unfortunate that such a great story is being brought down by such human garbage.

24

u/TonyTonynotchopper 1d ago

you mean the author with his really great writing when describing lolis, lmao, the fans were never the problem with the people outside of this community dude, it was the story itself.

-17

u/Lancelotmore 1d ago

He describes Rudy as a deeply flawed character, his perversion being one of his flaws. People pretending that isn't a flaw and that it is okay behavior are weird and gross and what gives the anime a bad name.

Something gross existing in a story doesn't equate to validation of it.

21

u/TonyTonynotchopper 1d ago

rudy is a pervert his whole life, he sure tones it down and its mostly focused on his wives but he still married to a legal loli, literally the trope everyone is constantly calling out outside of this community, the 10000 year old loli that looks twelve but for some reason is legal, did the author need to do this? not really, but legal lolis are popular and he probably doesnt dislike it one bit looking at the merch she gets, so yes, the author and the story is the reason why this story is hated, hell lets ignore roxy for now, what was the need of rudy validating his sister to be with his son? huh? in that moment rudy was clearly portraid on the wrong even though he was stopping his underage son from being with his adult sister, whats the excuse now?

Mods banned nsfw content featuring or referring to characters that are minors, including things like when people sexualized them in comments

11

u/REV0LV3RR Eris 1d ago

“NSWF Content”

> Emojis and terms.

And you can argue that “sexualizes” them but genuinely it couldn’t offend anyone or force NSFW content or ideas on anyone, the mods are imo just buddy buddy with the bolivian slum lord that runs witchcult which is why this was implemented the same day he started mass banning lolicons. (Hell they even make the rules exclude the lolis they like because they don’t want to admit they’re lolis)

-11

u/RA1N7 1d ago

But why are most people here against it? I feel like I'm missing something reading these replies..

-10

u/Herverpeju 1d ago

I honestly believed there were a lot less of them, but as far as I can tell yes, they are offended that you can't sexualize child eris

1

u/Visoth Zenith 16h ago

We the fans who do not like sexualizing child characters, are sadly, the minority of this subreddit.

My hope is that they jump ship to a new, smaller corner of the internet where they can goon for Aisha and Eris to their hearts content. And leave this place for actual discussion of the series.

-18

u/Pwn_erz 1d ago

>Dogpiles and buries every opposing user in downvotes to silence them to create an echo chamber

>Only surrounds themselves by like-minded lolicons in a space where they are in the highest concentration

>Makes use of being chronically online to adamantly and loudly defend their degeneracy

>All because you can't use a very specific emoji combo and term that you know has been reduced to sexualizing your drawings of kids every single day???

>The majority sides with me

Complete delusion. No one bothers to argue with you because you're all beyond help, have notoriously and delusionally never conceded in the first place and honestly don't deserve help, leaving anyone who actually has a functioning brain to realize that arguments are a waste of time from both sides. Go over to literally any other sub. /SubredditDrama for example. You guys are a very delusional, very, very vocal minority of degenerates.

On top of all the arguments lolicons try to make, i know for a fact that 2 of their little colloquialisms originate not from responding to drawn images sexualizing children, but from people responding to actual child sexual abuse material, that shit just migrated to logic on stuff when csam got eradicated from the mainline internet.

Which child is the victim of your so called pedos? Point us the name

It's the policing of these same kind of people (Which MT author is) in the same sub. In other words, pandering tourists.

-24

u/roriak 1d ago

Im genuinely baffled by some comments about these rules changes and I hope that they come from a loud minority in this subreddit and that the majority understands why it is normal to have these rules.

In many countries sexualized drawings of a child, even if it's fictional, stylized, or labeled as "just art" or "just a character who is over 18 but looks younger" are illegal and can be prosecuted. I believe that Reddit has to comply to that.

13

u/1000-MAT Rudeus 1d ago

14

u/Exarch-of-Sechrima 1d ago

I'm genuinely baffled why you're genuinely baffled, given the source material. Did you think people here were anti-lolicon or something?

1

u/roriak 23h ago

I’m aware of what kind of people these series attract but they are creepier than I thought

7

u/TonyTonynotchopper 1d ago

are you an idiot? no drawing was banned, only the lolicon talk, which will not get anyone banned since its the norm on other subs.

1

u/roriak 22h ago

Let me rephrase it so you can understand.
Lolicon talk and drawings should be banned not just in this sub but also in Reddit in general.

-11

u/Silver-Context297 1d ago

If you do not agree with the rules, please leave. You do not get to sexualize something in spaces where sexualization is not allowed. Time and place.

5

u/Lord_Lu_Bu 1d ago

Define sexualize, is posting a screenshot from the anime banned now? Because there is plenty of sexualization in the show itself. The rule makes no sense. You can get banned for posting a screenshot of last weeks episode lol
