Misc Felix Appreciation!!!
Is it just me or I feel like Slow it down is a good representation of what antis/haters or casual listeners/observers may not really understand about Felix.
This might be really long but I've been wanting to talk about this for a while because it's been bothering me a little. Like I remember seeing a reddit post a few months which basically kind of accused Felix of selling his soul in a way. I can't remember the exact words of the post but what they meant was kind of like he has no artistic integrity/vision for himself at all which isn't true at all, especially when you listen to his solos. Yeah, he might have the fewest solos out of the group but I think for each of the solos, he has been intentional about the type of message he wants to give out in the song which proves he has a vision of what he wants to do.
Then, on to casual listeners, I remember seeing another post, which was a long one about stray kids in general and inside it when talking about Felix, the person mentioned that he shouldn't just rely on his deep voice for his solo, it won't work. And I just thought 'do you think he' ll just release a song that's 100% deep voice' Not saying that I'll kind, but all it takes is to just listen to one of his songs to know that he doesn't really rely on his deep voice at all. I feel like when I listen to his solos, he's aware of how to use his voice like an instrument and that the biggest strength of his voice is when there's contrast between it and a higher tone. That's why all his solos make use of his 143 voices.
Now, on to Felix appreciation, I really loved Slow it down and the message it had. I think there's a tendency because Felix stands out a lot in title tracks, he' s a gamer boy and he's pretty hype in concert to think that the main type of solos he'd release are songs like Rev it up (love this song too and there's nothing wrong it) but, instead when you watch a lot of stray kid's content you'll understand that he has a lot of empathy. He does great when he tries to put himself in the shoes of that for a song and he should really lean into that when it's time for him to release a solo album.
What I'll really love for an album from him is him leaning into storytelling, so the album is essentially about the life of a young boy/girl and each song a different hurdle they overcome. Hands down would be aoty for me and even of he doesn't fo this, I'll still love his album because his voice is my favourite voice ever and what dragged me into loving stray kids. I'd never have gotten to know so many amazing songs and the members if it weren't for him.
Anyways, that's all I wanted to say guys. Stream Slow it down everywhere to show Felix our love and appreciation for everything that he does🙃

Misc Anybody else really love Chan & I.N's friendship?
I don't see people talk about them much maybe cuz they're not a very popular pairing but they always seemed very close to me.
In one Skz code when they asked I.N who was his favorite member he named Bang Chan & they also live together as well. Even with 4 years of age gap ( We all know how hierarchies can get in korea) they never seemed awkward to me even pre-debut and always seemed to love teasing eachother as equal while having lot of mutual respect.
I'm not into shipping or anything but I just have a appreciation for their friendship.
