Question Pixel 10a battery

Just curious to know - I recently bought a Pixel 10a - I'm amazed at the battery which seems to (at least at the moment) last two days on moderate but by no means light usage. My last phone was an iPhone 14 and have been on iPhones for years.

Is the battery life of the pixel just a reflection of huge improvements in batteries over the last few years, which you would see in most newish phones or is the 10a just very handy in that department? Or a bit of both?

Recommendation Looking for my next phone can you give me an advice?

Thank you all in advance for taking the time to read.

I currently have an iPhone 15 Pro, but I’ve had enough of iOS and I’ve decided to go back to Android.

Camera quality is probably the most important thing for me, especially taking great photos, but I’m really unsure about which phone to get. I’d also be open to buying a Chinese ROM phone if that gives me better options.

Ideally, I’d like to buy something this month, although I could wait until the end of the month if there are new phones worth waiting for. My budget is very flexible.

I’ve been looking at some of the high-end Oppo and Vivo phones, like the Vivo X300 Ultra and Oppo N9 Ultra, but I’m not sure whether they’re worth buying now or if I should wait a few more weeks and see what gets announced.

Another option would be importing something like the Vivo N6, although I’ve never imported a Chinese phone before. What websites do people normally use and trust for that?

At this point I have way too many options in my head and I’m a bit lost 😅 The only two things I’m sure about are: I’m done with iOS, and I don’t want a Pixel.

What would you guys recommend if camera quality is the main priority?

Review Officially one year of Nothing phone 3a.

Upvotes

Hi, I bought a Nothing Phone (3a) on sept 2 2025 and received it around 6pm IST

It was my first phone and i wanted Nothing phones badly since the Nothing phone (1) released, didn't have the money for it back then, then I saved up a lot and asked my parents, my parents said they will do an additional 5k on top of whatever I saved, I saved 19k and the phone was around 21k ₹ (221.34$,163.41 Pound sterling) after bank discounts, here's the pros about the phone I feel like

PROS:

• Started using the phone from day 1 and it was very good and I liked everything, the camera, the os and the feel of the phone, i bought mine with 8/256gb option and in blue color, to be honest old phone that I had was around 128 and for me that was well enough, back using the old phone i used to game COD at low setting used to get 40fps, same cod here I get 90fps on high graphics and I've taken care of the phone as if it was my child lol.

• The processor is not overheating, this phone packs a sd 7s gen 3 and yes I know it's a budget processor and i used a way worse phone before this so I mean it's a upgrade (old phone was a samsung m02) i used to beg for it to even open because I had a ton of school work on it, when it died I had no choice but to spend another 1k for screen, then decided enough is enough, bought this phone and life's good

CONS:

• The only con i feel like exist is the battery, i used to get more than a day of soc on my old phone and now I'm only getting half of it even lower when I'm gaming, the battery life should have been improved that's all

Tl;dr

I bought my first nothing phone a year ago and my experience with it is just amazing except the battery

Recommendation Lost s24+ what should I replace it with or should I just wait

Howdy. My s24+ got lost/stolen. I currently am using my pixel 6. I'm looking at phones and trying to figure out what to get. I don't see any new phones I love tho. My all time favorite phone is oneplus 5t.

I was debating getting a 24 ultra. But I don't like Samsung phones anymore. I hate The pixels.

I'm not really sure what to do. Should I wait? With the new silicone carbon batteries coming out it would be nice to get something new new. Not just a new skin.

Question Marca

Recommendation I'm currently considering the Samsung Galaxy A56 5G 256GB and iPhone 15 256GB, but I'm open to other recommendations.

Hi! I need some help choosing my next phone. 🥹

My priorities:

  • ₱20k–₱30k budget
  • Brand new, preferably from an official store
  • 256GB preferred because I store a lot of photos/files
  • Something I can keep for 4–5+ years
  • I really don't want a phone that becomes noticeably slow, laggy, or prone to freezing over time
  • Smooth and fast everyday performance
  • Good camera is very important because I'll be using it for my Taiwan trip
  • Fast camera launch and shutter response
  • Good battery life
  • I'm not a heavy gamer mostly social media, photos/videos, browsing, messaging, etc.

I'm especially interested in real-world long-term experience rather than specs alone.

If there's another phone around ₱20k–₱30k that you think would fit my needs better, I'm very open to suggestions. Thank you! 💗

Recommendation Please recommend a smartphone suitable for Wuwa.

If I'm playing games like WUWA and want to keep my budget low, what smartphone should I buy? I'm currently thinking of buying a Galaxy S26.
