GALS GALS laid eggs, need some clarification.
Hello, I rescued a giant African land snail recently. I knew nothing about them so learning as I go but ended up taking it home from a rescue situation where he was separated due to a rescue of 190 snails, I’ve had lots of tips and advice already but always open to more. I have no idea what type of GALS it is but was told it was juvenile and wouldn’t produce eggs for a while. I know it’s my fault but due to this I haven’t been thoroughly searching for eggs. Today I got up to a lot of babies, I didn’t realise my GALS was big enough to be sexually mature. I have no idea if it was ever kept with other snails before I got it. Google seems to say that my snail shouldn’t be able to reproduce as of yet so I’m very confused. I do understand that I need to cull eggs and babies and I am accepting of that, I’m just asking for some clarification on how this guy has managed to produce babies. I have added a few pics of my snail to see if anyone has any idea on how old it may be or what special it may be.
Ps. Its name is Gary

Help GALS bio active setup
Hello! I'm currently getting bits so setup my new baby's tank, I really want to make it bio active with springtails and isopods. I'm not sure which breeds of isopods would be suitable, I don't want to have some that overbreed and lead to me having to get rid of some, and I've also seen that some breeds can bite the snail??
I'm also wondering what plants would be suitable for the setup
I'm quite new to all of this so I would appreciate any help!

Help Eye-injury?
Hello everyone!
Does anyone know what’s going on with it’s eyes? Few days ago only one looked like it, now both are like that… I didn’t notice any changes in behaviour (eating, hiding in the shell seems fine. I mean they’re having some issues with finding the food since both of they’re eyes are affected but searching for food and eating itself is like usual).
I assumed it was some sort of injury at first but now it happened to the other eye too, so I’m a bit concerned. The other snails within the tank seem fine.

This is normal?
I put a coconut out for my snails and I just saw the biggest one taking bites out of the coconut.
The coconut was sanded and boiled; I'd never seen him eat coconut that way.

Help Help! Is something wrong with my snail?
the snail i’m worried about is the little one. they’re the same age yet they’re far smaller then their sibling… the little one is very very inactive. i feel like they do not eat much, they’re both in the like juvenile age. they have a constant source of calcium (a bigger cuttlefish bone among with smaller ones scattered) their substrate is coco coir with calcium added to neutralise the acidity. the picture shows less than half the enclosure other side has places too hide big guy seems to be doing well and does eat a fair amount not as much as i’d think he needs too. they have a heat mat on the back right side of the enclosure. the smaller one is quite far retracted in the shell but i can still see them. when i got them they both where roughly same size the little one being only slightly smaller. the little ones always been shy and less active but it’s gotten worse. i don’t see the little one move but occasionally she moves locations when i open the lid the next morning. i think ill try check up on her by putting her in some shallow warm water. i’m mainly concerned little one is far smaller then the big guy. also being so inactive compared to big guy and being quite far retracted in the shell.
