Validating an dating-assistant idea — would love feedback on the concept

I'm building Flirt Easy, an assistant that suggests replies for dating app conversations. The core insight: most people aren't bad at dating, they're bad at the blank-page moment when they have to think of what to text.

The tool reads conversation context and offers a few reply options in different tones. The user edits and sends — nothing automated end-to-end.

I'm at the stage where I'm trying to figure out the real demand vs. just my own assumption. For those who've launched consumer apps: how did you validate whether people would actually pay for something like this before building too much? And is "AI for dating" a category people trust, or one they're skeptical of?

Honestly. If I see a message is automated/AI in any way I tend to ignore it

Not dating, but conversations, emails, websites, reddit posts.

Dating needs to be getting to know a person, not their AI assistant. If the conversation doesn't flow, its probably a sign of incompatibility, not "I don't know what to type next"
