I have a door spider, they are beautiful and have lived on my door for a few days. I believe it’s a jumping spider? I’ve named my door spider Benny!

Pretty much the title, I found the spider on my blankets on my bed, I sleep in the basement but this doesn’t look like a house spider. I’m scared to sleep now lol, sorry the photos are so crap

Location is Izucar de Matamoros, Mexico. First night in a new house and I want to know if I need to go rent a hotel for the night 😂 not really, I’m genuinely curious but also nervous he’s inside.

I got this guy taking up residence in my work van cupholder, I released it and it was back the next day, we have since been feeding it (bugs from my yard) and misting the web.

For context my house is surrounded by cranberry bogs so I’m guessing some sort of wolf spider but I’d like better information to take care of it properly since it’s t clearly like being in the van

this is the biggest spider i have ever seen in the wild besides the tarantulas in Southern Utah. It lived under my back deck and I only discovered it about a week ago. I let it do his thing, he’s not hurting me even though i’m scared of him lol but this morning i went outside and found him dead :( he is also missing a leg. we got some insane thunderstorms recently so i’m thinking he probably died related to the rain.

i’m so sad but this meant i could get closer than i’m normally comfortable with and take a good picture and look at it. HOLY COW ARE THOSE FANGS? HAIR?
