I created this art for a fanmade splatfest I made up, and I realize I really like the design, and I feel like this is the best my idols have looked. I have a problem with digital art unfortunately though, because I’m trying to draw them with dimensions so I can put new clothes on them, but I can’t seem to recreate this picture even with the same brushes. Additionally I had to draw this in my sketchbook first and trace it on my iPad. Ideally I want to draw everything on iPad (the sketch, the color, and the line art) but I keep redrawing the same starter lines in a row and am still unsatisfied with proportions, line weights, etc. I’m a beginner so it might be a skill issue tbh, but I still wanted to ask if anyone else struggles with this, or has any advice (even if it’s just “practice ____”).

Besides that, if you were wondering, the splatfest question I made was: “Which media do you prefer: Underground or Mainstream?” Hopefully this is appealing🙏🏾

It seems I can easily move up the ranks much smoother and quicker in S+ than to even get out of S rank
Idk why this is but it’s annoying

Here’s my current build. Yes I heard it all, “Respawn punisher isn’t going to help you get more kills”, “your ruining the flow of the game”, “Just use haunt”, “I wouldn’t want you on my team”, “even the pros don’t use it so why should you?”, etc.

Heres some things I started noticing:

Players started jumping off the map when they see me coming, specifically backliners. I thought it was a miss click at first then i realized they probably think them finishing the job themselves would bring them back faster than if i got the final hit.

Other Respawn Punisher users actually prefer to not fight me specifically after they realize I have it.

More of the other team is rage quitting and either the match ends or we win by numbers.(Hell, I’m not complaining)

I am less afraid during fights and i’m more confident starting them. I used to be extremely nervous and shaky during every interaction lmfaoo!

My accuracy and reaction speed got better due to be dying a lot at the start.

I’m wasting less ink and saving my dodge rolls instead of starting every interaction with it.

I’m not going to say if it’s good or bad but it definitely forced me to get better than what i was before. Yeah If i took it off I would probably do even better now, but really I like the benefits I get from it compared to when I was using haunt. All I’m saying is it made me more mindful of my actions.
