Sooooo many toes!

Merlin is a little over 3 yrs old. When we got him as a kitten he loved suckling on this blanket, and as he grew he did it less and less, but still does it every 3 months or so. I love how spready his toes get when he does it.

Sorry for all the white noise, it’s a combo of two fans in the room plus my husband showering lol

(and no, despite what a lot of ppl like to say, suckling is not always a sign of “being taken away from the mother cat too early” - plenty of cats do it for pleasure and comfort, and plenty don’t. He and his siblings were rescued by my friend and had already weaned from their feral kitty mom.)

Also yes, claw trim is happening today. Ira is so good about not poking me that I don't always notice how long they've gotten until she shows them.
