There are several news coming out in the latest few hours that report McTominay and Napoli medical staff considering going under surgery to solve the issue of blisters that Scott is having.

Allegri confirmed after the Como game that Scott cannot perform at his best both in training and in games due to this problem.

The player, Napoli and the medical staff are considering the surgery during the long NT pause that we will be having this year to have the player back right after since the surgery plus recovery time should not exceed 10-15 days.

What is the identity of this team this season. It’s not defensive. Our defense has looked atrocious and Allegri is overrated. His teams haven’t even been good at defense. Olivera had an awful showing this past weekend. It’s not attacking, our attack has also look abysmal. Thank you for your services Politano, but time to be a super sub or leave the team. It’s not possession, our midfield has looked mediocre at best and has not commanded possession or the midfield in general.

Even if we are indifferent to Sarri, I much rather have had Sarri return than Allegri any day.

I’ve seen a lot of comments yesterday about the club and the squad, but I think that the expectations for this season have been set very poorly by most of the supporters, but most importantly by the club itself.

Personally, as I’m saying since early summer, the team is capable to reach 4th place and to qualify in top24 in UCL. This doesn’t mean we will do it easily.

The team is worse than last season since we lost both Buongiorno and Beukema and we are currently playing with Rafa Marin which is a very poor CB. Hopefully Beukema will be back soon.

We sold our best player as LB, and that is our worse position now.

Our midfield is also performing poorly since McTominay is playing with a heavy problem of blisters while Anguissa is the shade of himself.

In attack we rely on individual brilliance but as for now we keep placing Politano as a starter which clearly can do a great job as a sub but he’s not starting material anymore and Lang is very average to the point he would not make difference in much worse teams I’d say.

The club is convinced that this team is Scudetto material and ADL is even talking about the CL win, which is of course crazy to the point that I’ve fear he’s starting to have dementia problems due to old age. This is probably the bane of this season, a club owner and his crew completely detached from reality that really believe that we could win everything this season when the reality onto the pitch speaks loudly of a team that will fight hard to get an European spot.

Guys, I’m not sugar coating anything, this will be a rough season that we need to scrap by the skin of our teeth to reach 4th place. If we don’t this might be the start of our banter-era and we could face the same faith Roma has suffered the last 10 years.

It’s my opinion in-fact that Roma, Juve, Inter and Como are all better than us and Atalanta and Milan are teams that could challenge us for the same spots on the leaderboard. We have to hope that Allegri will find a solution for making the team earn points in whichever way possible.

We have to trust in our boys to get the job done but won’t be pretty and won’t be easy.

Gabriel Jesus is a new Barca player for around 15M€. Napoli was on the player but ultimately was not possible to invest on him cause Lang and/or Lucca are still in the squad.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Ajax is back on Noa Lang that could leave both permanently or on loan with option to buy. If that is the case, Napoli is ready to sign Woltemade on loan. Napoli has both the agreement with Newcastle and the player. Most probable option is a loan without option to buy then the two clubs could talk about a permanent deal later during the season.

Other local rumors says that Manna is also looking for a young U23 player to add to the squad. Probably a midfielder as a backup for Anguissa.

About players that could leave Napoli, Brondby from Denmark could ask Lindstrom on loan while Cajuste could go to Spain. The most probable player to leave next is Mazzocchi who should go to Venezia alongside Juan Jesus which signed as a free agent.

Simple question: how does it generally work in the Curva when it comes to seats? Do people usually stick to their assigned seats, or is it more of a free-for-all?

It just got released, and it's brutal. We are playing every 3-5 days through January, and longer if we don't get eliminated from a competition. With our squad age and depth the substitutes are going to have to pull big weight in order to save face.

I'm expecting another disappointing campaign.

I have Vergara Al Fantacalcio, Is It useful to have Politano for the starter role? What about Neres? Should I take both?

Hi all. Napoli fan from Ireland here. I realise this post may have been done before so apologies for that. I'm going to Naples for a week early in 27 and I can't wait. The first time I was there I missed the chance as the dates we went were out of my control. I've seen a few suggest to use P1travel.com and I have been looking into it and it seems really easy to get tickets. My question is have any of you used P1travel before? How was it and if so is there anything else I should keep in mind when going to the ground with a ticket purchased from them? Any help is much appreciated.
