I reduced the default saturation value from 60 to 37. It still has colour, but it also looks more dreary and less cheerful and pleasant. Put contrast up to 53. Gamma is around 45

Im ok with the more vibrant colour of the 2.0 for now. Looks amazing in HDR.

Enough of this desaturated gamma look.

I wish Dying Light 2 looked less vibrant and more dreary by default (thank fod for the filters option), but i dont use HDR as I cant get it (and blacks) to look right

Never played DL2, only the first one (amazing) and The Beast (good). I remember them looking pretty amazing.

37?! Dude is everything okay at home? Are you depressed? You need some color man!

Nah i dont like the Zone looking vibrant and happy.

I still get colour, just not overly saturated

I feel the same way, but since the game takes place in July and it summer, it feels wrong looking too grey. If the game took place in fall or winter, I'm absolutely cranking the saturation down. I feel like I can feel a color pallette.

The latest update, while freaking amazing, made me realize, its time xD

Great shots! This game constantly has me just stopping and looking around to admire the scenery, moreso than any other game ive ever played.

Was having a moment with the game yesterday since they fixed the lighting on the guns. Not only are there no more visual gripes I have, but in appreciating the visuals since the 2.0 patch, you really get lost in it. Screenshots don’t do the game justice.

As it rolls between night and day on top of how the weather changes with smooth transitions, the world feels alive even when nothing is around. The way the wind gradually kicks up as a storm approaches. The way it lightly rains. The way fog gently rolls in, gets surprisingly thick, and gradually dissipates.

Such a fluid, dynamic backdrop in addition to the improved lighting with the god rays peeling between the foliage. So good.

Guys my guns looks whitish what can I do about it? People were complaining about it when 2.0 came out but eventually many of them said that it was resolved. I am using aoc q27g3xmn/bk. Maybe someone can advice gamma, contrast, brightness settings for this game

It was patched after the last update. In the 10/11 image you can see this white look because the protocolo was taken in the 2.0 patch.

Yeah it's fixed in the latest 2.04 update

Random question but haven’t got my hands on one yet to check, does the Fora-221 stock still look like it’s bending every time you run with it in your hands.

I think 4k resolution and HDR do wonders in this game.
