With the release of Legacy omnibus and upcoming Clone Wars omnibus, I am really tested if I should bite the bullet and get them. There has been no reprints for some years now for the Epics afaik. For example, I have the Crimson Empire Epic and thinking about getting New Republic Omnibus vol 2 to have Thrawn + Dark Empire before the Crimson or I have the Tales of the Jedi vol.2 Epic at a local store I can buy (not really interested in Dawn of the Jedi anyway and don’t like the Tales omnibus cover) but I have no idea if Tales vol.3 Epic would ever be available again. Same goes for Empire vol. 3 Epic which I need badly to complete the Dark Times as I already have Empire 1 & 2 Epics.

I like Epics much more than Omnis since they are much more comfortable to read and I really like how they look on shelf next to each other. But this FOMO (which is real with these books since you actually can never find them) and no reprints is really making me consider getting some of the stories in Omnibus format. I guess my question is, do you think we will get reprints of Epics? In the same Epic format and not a new TPB format? I am fine with waiting as I enjoy hunting them down and already read the stories years ago but I also don’t want to miss getting the Omnis when I can like the Legacy. Would you wait for Epic reprints? Do you think it is realistic that we will get reprints of Epics even though it could take some time or they are done with reprints?
