Juul
Hello everyone!!
I’ve found this sub through r/leaves
I’m 1 month in THC free, now it’s time to tackle the real beast, my nicotine habit.
I watched my grandfather smoke himself to his deathbed and I’ve unfortunately acquired that habit.
I started smoking cigs in 2011, sophmore in HS.
I’ve been from black and milds to cowboy killers.
In 2017 my friend gave me a vape and since that was a more financially stable route, I stuck to it.
Long story short, I’m 31, I now have this Juul.
I tried doing chewing gum but that was destroying my diet, tried going cold turkey but the headaches started showing its teeth.
Does anyone have any methods to slowly get away from this, planning to have children by 35/36 so I wanna get way away from this to give my body as much time as I can to recover.
Thank you in advance. <3

I’m on day 3 cold turkey no weed or tobacco. Loved me some spliffs. I have a gnarly addictive personality so cold turkey is the only way for me. I can’t handle a taper. And honestly, it’s the quickest way to get better. Every smoke is just making those cravings last longer. It’s 3 days of hell and being really angry all the time. Then it gets wayyyy easier. If you taper that sounds like weeks and months of cravings. I treat it like a flu or something. My mom taught me the HATS acronym for cravings. Hungry, angry, tired, sad. Those feelings will make your cravings worse. So try to eat well, ask for patience from your loved ones, sleep as much as you can between the night sweats, and do a few things that make you happy.
That helped me quit for a few years and had a bit of a relapse this year. Now just all about healing!!
Good luck
