Looking for advice for streaming / obs

Starting streaming during the pandemic - since going back to work it’s been spotty.

I have a hundred ideas. decent at games but my personality / party is my draw.

I have a stream deck with keys set up for editing on divinci resolve. Working on some obs keys.

I have over 300 followers. Mostly from my pandemic era but want to get back into it hard and would like advice on streamlining.

I have 2 monitors. One for my pc and one for my p5. I also have a tv for a side monitor.

Stream deck and pedal.

MK wave mic (pc can’t support its latest softwear)

Mac book 2015

Older windows PC that doesn’t support all the new softwear but run the stream fine - better than the Mac book.

Looking to streamline the process of playing , yapping, clipping and editing. What plug ins should I get.

Not looking for the easy way but whatever o can do to make it simpler would be nice. Suggestions?

Checkout nutty on YouTube he has a fantastic streamer guide. He also live streams often so maybe you could ask questions and get realtime advice there

Replay buffer gonna save you so much time, i was recording full streams and chopping them in resolve for months before i figured that out. Bind the save to your pedal and set it to like 90 seconds, you get the clips without sitting through 4 hours of footage later. Stream deck keys per source too so you can flip between pc and ps5 without breaking anything.

Your pc already hates the mk wave softwear so id avoid anything else that needs its own app tbh. I think the emeet pixy does everything through usb without installing anythin, thats what i have on my setup and obs just sees it. Might be worth a look for your situation since that machine is already struggling with drivers.

Having a stream deck and a pedal is a great start for clipping live, but trying to manually cut down VODs after a long shift is usually where the burnout happens. If you want to streamline the process without losing the banter that makes your stream work, stop trying to edit everything in DaVinci by hand.
