Such a long and memorable journey.

Why is there no history for the levels you've already finished in the campaign? It would be nice to see which missions I’ve completed on "Very Hard". You can only see that you've completed them, but for me, that's pretty unsatisfying. Do you know what I mean?

Hi there! I'm new to the series and I'm admittedly confused.
Stronghold and Crusader have a good amount of variations!
For Stronghold, there appears to be Stronghold Definitive Edition and Stronghold HD. For Crusader, I see three options: HD, Extreme HD and Definitive.
I feel like I'm at a fast-food restaurant with a bunch of similar-sounding varieties of chicken sandwich. Could you please help simplify things for me and tell me which way to go? Thanks!

I hope it will be either Stronghold 2 or Stronghold legends, without the population limitation, currently you can only have 128 peasants working or/and idle. I would like to have more than 128 peasants especially for Stronghold 2. New campaigns and lords would nice too, just like Stronghold Crusader got

Yesterday I was at the gamescom 2026 germany.
I was visiting the firefly studio booth and had a lot of fun meeting many Stronghold fans.

Still lots of things missing and left to do.
But maybe some of you can help me by providing sprites of corresponding European units to the Arab and Bedouin units?
Or someone wants to design the Origin campaign (Prequel to SH1 campaign)? Lots of image, audio and video work to do there.
Once I have the basic changes running stable enough, I can share the project with people who would like to participate in the project.
Unfortunately, I started the project in German, so most of the documentation and early implementations are still in German.
Looking forward to your input!

A nitwit, known as Lord Edward the foolhardy, he just exists to be a nuisance. His attacks are uncoordinated, as is his economy, his troop comps, everything about him. He's weak, and frankly, should not be put in charge of an army. A Crusader Lord, loosely based on the Stronghold 2 villian. Uses Spearmen, Archers, and some European Swordsmen, as well as a few siege engines.

Rodrik, a man in search of fame and glory, setting his focus on the glory and the thrill of conquests. He pours everything he has into that, with his faith and army carrying him through tougher times. A bit of a foolhardy leader, Rodrik has a lot to learn, his castles, if you can call them that, are hastily constructed and resemble a rats nest. Don't be fooled however, as he is an interesting cookie, and leaves it all on the battlefield, where he lets his fighting do the talking. And he is good at that, a Crusader Lord, and he uses all the best they have to offer to his advantage, both Archers and Crossbowmen, with Pikemen and Swordsmen too; a lot of Swordsmen.

A very cunning Arabian warlord whose whole identity is built on waging war. He is known as the Battlesharp because of his sieging abilities, and he does not hold back with his attacks. His name, Mansur, directly translates to victorious, and he will be. Give him a bit of time, and he will become an absolute force, with his castle, defenses and economy becoming an absolute threat. A very strong balanced Lord, of the Arabic faction, with a unique castle design and troop composition. Using both Bedouins and Arabian mercanaries, he uses them quite extensively; Arabian Archers, Horse Archers, Fire Throwers, Ambushers, Skirmishers, and a few Camel Lancers, with Arab Swordsmen and Demolishers as his melee units.
Has 4 different castle variations, each with his famous double walled design, which attackers struggle to penetrate.

What game speed does 50 in Stronghold Crusader Classic correspond to in Stronghold Deluxe Classic?

I've got to the point where I've beaten the mission called Supply Lines, but the swordsmen are stuck on the other side of my moat and can't reach my units, and I've to kill them to win the mission even though it is defensive.. My units also can't reach them because all I have are slaves, ambushers and healers. I really don't know what to do. It seems like it hasn't been play tested because how can you let that happen. The game wants you to use ambushers behind a moat and then it throws swordsmen in the corner who just stand there in the corner and do nothing wtf???

Just a random 2 a.m. thought lol. I honestly expected a historical AI that uses figures like Sultana Shajar al-Durr or Queen Arwa of Yemen.

This night I completed the last trail with an overall rating of "Prince of Sand". After hundreds of hours I am almost done with Stonghold Crusader DE. All I have left to do is finish tyrant, play the tutorial and subscribe to the newsletter. The journey is nearly complete and I already feel melancholic because I dont want it to be over.

I expected the surgeon to use them, considering that he has a grand mosque in his castle. Though I think a religiously affiliated lord should use them the same way the abbot does.
Maybe the caliph or the Kahinah? I mean, she does mention temples in her messages.

They don't have any images to go along with them and they are meant to be played with the prebuilt ai castles in the custom scenerio options. The ai Ive uploaded of my 18~ custom lords are as follows: The Urchin, Glutton, Stonemason, Brewer, Armored, D'Ruin, Isshiit (Esh'ieet). Almost all of them have 2+ castle designs except The Glutton due to how large his one castle already is. Let me know how they feel and if I should upload anymore, hope you enjoy their variety! Post edit: (As Ive upload this they are on the first page still when filtered through new + custom lord, if that helps!)
