i have this jade under grow lights, is it getting too much light? the leaves are like bleached/neon.

This is the same plant I posted about 2 years ago! Look at her! *it is 7am before sunrise in photo and she sits in the windowsill normally.

She gets soo much sun now that we have a sun facing window. I think she is flowering for the first time? The new growth at the center has never happened before.

But in her youth, she got tall due to not having the same luxuries of the sun.

Should I behead her? She is getting wonky cause of her height, but I WILL SOB if she dies.

Also any good advice on beheading to help prevent said death will be GREATLY appreciated 👏 💐

I got married in Vegas December 2025 and there was a small succulent in my bouquet. My honeymoon was right after the wedding so I couldn’t preserve my bouquet but I took the succulent and it traveled with me and survived! I took it home to try to preserve it and it’s doing great. Eventually, I might need to put it in a different planter!

My Echiveria is developing this white sticky almost cotton wool like material in the crown rosette. Also small amounts on the offshoots?

Is this mealybugs and i have isopropyl alcohol i can dilute and dab. Just looking for confirmation before I get to it.

When I bought this, I was told it is Stapelia Hirsuta. Can anyone confirm this identification?

This is my second attempt at keeping a Burro’s Tail. Can anyone tell me from this photo what I need to do to help it thrive? I’ve definitely not overwatered and it’s in a succulent mix and perlite. In a partially sunny place and it’s still dropping leaves and parts are shriveled.

The second photo is the first one I got a few years ago and I’ve been bringing it back from the point of no return but it’s looking rough. I’m sure I need more sunlight but not many places in my house for that.

Any help is appreciated.

I got a prop from a neighbor about 4 years ago, now have 4 plants. This is the first time it's ever flowered! I have it with a propped burro's tail. Forgive the wall, we're repainting.

I don’t remember where I got the seeds from so I have no idea what they are. Second one is some Trichocereus I believe. The first one came in a pink thin pod and the second came in a round yellow pod. They’re both a little over a year old.

Last time I made this post it was removed for being too “vague”. Let me try again.

My Burro’s tail seems to be quite cooked by root rot, but the majority of the plant still looks to be alive.
How can I or what should I do to try and revive this plant/remove the rotten portions of its stem?
I’ve never propagated so I’m unsure what the proper procedure is to restore this plant. Please help ty!

Hi! I have these two succulents, and both have these brown spots. I previously cut the succulents to keep them shorter, I do not know why they grow tall instead of wide.

Since I noticed the brown spots, I have removed the affected leaves, but they keep spreading. One of the plants even gave a baby, I just noticed.

I water them once every month or every two months, by soaking them in water for maybe 30 min, and then I leave them drain before putting them back in their pots.

What am I doing wrong? Is this some sort of infection?

Sooooooo. I won plant bingo at my local plant shop Thursday. I won 3 succulents. Now I have 11 plants. I've blacked out and dont know what happend. Well here are my new children and bonus! Their names!

I rescued this Jade plant a few years ago from the side of the road. My first succulent experience. I read up on them a little (sandy, well-draining soil, far less water than anything living should need, lot's of sun, etc.) and have tried caring for it as well as I can. It's doing okay, though I feel like it's not exactly thriving. It hasn't gotten much larger than when I got it, though there is new growth, and I never seem to manage to acclimate it to the sun properly when I put it outside in spring.

It has tipped over and there are new branches growing straight up from the trunk. The part that is overhanging also seems floppy and there are some leaves that are wrinkled. Some have also shriveled up and fallen off, though not many. Same with a separate branch that fell off last year, and that I just stuck in the soil next to it. I'm seeing some aerial roots too, so I'm wondering if I'm actually watering too little now.

I'm also wondering if I should just cut the overhanging part off and let the new growth become the main part, or something else. I would like it to have a bit more shape overall and be self supporting, but maybe there's a better way to go about it? Thanks for any advice!

In less than a month, I've gained 11 succulents with this Echeveria menina being my first non-mesembs succulent. I feel like I've joined a cult.
